A woman is searching for love and has offered whoever can find her a husband $5,000 - so if you've got any single friends, time to set them up!

Finding love is really difficult, which seems odd considering that dating apps and social media should make it a lot easier to find a match.

Sadly this doesn't seem to be the case, and many are left questioning themselves as time pushes on and no ring appears on their finger.

Eve has found herself in this situation, and has taken to TikTok to challenge everyone to find her the man who she'll walk down the aisle to - and there's a cash prize.

Stitching over a podcast about romantic setups, Eve said: "I made this bet with my boss a couple of years ago, and I've now added my best friend, her husband, and a couple of other friends, but I feel like I'm going to open it up to the general public."

Eve continued: "The bet is that if you introduce me to my husband and I marry him, I will give you $5,000."

The rules of the deal don't include romance that lasts forever, as the TikToker explained that even if she and her future husband get a divorce, whoever introduces her to the man she walks down the aisle to will receive the money.

It seems like a pretty fair trade - and if you're like me, you're now scrolling through your contacts searching for single friends because $5,000 sounds great.

You'll have to hurry though, as the video has been seen by over 550,000 people, meaning that there might be a lot of referrals coming Eve's way.

One person took to the comments to say: "This is good because it’ll incentivize people to set you up with good candidates, not deadbeats."

A second added: "What you looking for girly I will help you," while a third appeared to be after marriage and the money, which would probably be deemed unethical, as he said: "I'm about to recommend me."

It seems like a pretty genius way to find a partner, as if there is a promise of $5,000 dollars after marriage, people might actually take it seriously.

Love is tough, so any method of finding it is okay with me.
