A woman has been applauded on social media for refusing to switch her first-class seat on a plane with a child. Dr. Sabra - who goes by the handle <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@lifewithdrsabra">@lifewithdrsabra</a> on TikTok - revealed that she was recently asked to move from her 1A plane seat during a flight to accommodate another passenger's wish. In the video, she wrote in the overlay text: "POV: Flight agent asks me if I want to give up my 1A seat so a child sits with their family," and you can see her having a big smile on her face, which indicates that she was pleased with her decision to stick with the ticket she originally paid for. She also used a popular TikTok audio of a person saying: "Girl, f*** them kids and f*** you too," which is often utilized by creators to accompany clips in which they choose not to make sacrifices for other people’s children. It is often deemed to be the most popular seat on the plane among travelers. The TikToker shared more information about the incident in the caption, explaining that she chose not to give up her position and that the family ended up "finding a solution" to being seated separately. "That’s a no from me dawg, would you have given up your seat? Also, they ended up finding a solution so no, I am not a terrible human being. Also, the child was like 13," she wrote. In the comments section of the clip - which garnered 4.9 million views - many viewers agreed that she was not in the wrong for keeping her original seat, and pointed out that the parents should've planned better. One person said: "Why isn’t their first instinct to just switch the child with one of her parents so they could be with a guardian… lmao." Someone else shared: "Unless they upgrade me to first class im not moving I paid for that seat you should have planned your trip better." A third person remarked: "People need to PLAN AHEAD. stop making your lack of planning everyone else’s problem."
