It's always a great day when you find a way to get the order you want at your favorite food joint while managing to get around the whole 'paying for them' bit. So if you happen to be a fan of McDonald's hot beverages, then you'll be pleased to know that one woman has shared an ingenious 'hack' that could get you ones for free.
Canadian Sierra Rose Beaulieu is a lover of all things tea and recently shared a McCafé 'life hack' with her 3,000 followers on Twitter.
The 24-year-old tweeted: "Life hack for McDonald’s coffee drinkers, when you order your coffee order a glass of hot water with it (or more than one) they give you the hot water in the coffee cup with the sticker on it to add to the card to get the 8th coffee free. You’re welcome."
According to Sierra, the hot water she orders for free usually comes in a McCafé coffee with a loyalty sticker on it. They normally don't remove the stickers, Sierra says, so she ends up getting collecting the stickers - stickers she obtained without paying a dime.
Once your loyalty card has seven stickers, you are able to claim an eighth medium-sized drink for free.

In addition to stickers you can collect in person, you can also accumulate points on the McDonald’s app.
You get a virtual sticker for each drink you purchase, but when you collect your coffee you'll also get the actual stick on your cup too.
And so by the time you've filled your loyalty card, for which you just need to buy six coffees - you'll get two drinks. Not bad, huh?
In any case, McDonald's often gives away free items to people who use the app - so it might just be worth a download!
