A woman has been praised on social media after paying off over $1,600 in overdue school lunch fees.
TikToker Sarah Shoots shared the moment she agreed to pay the amount off in full in a clip that has since racked up over 1.8 million views.
In the video, Sarah can be seen on the phone to the school. She asks: "I was calling to see if there are any overdue school lunch accounts that I could pay for?"
A representative for the school explains that there are "quite a few" overdue school lunch accounts, to which Sarah asks: "What's the total of all of them?"
After checking the numbers and making some calculations, the school rep informs her that the total overdue is a whopping $1,659.
Sarah asks: "Can I pay for it with a credit card over the phone?"
The rep explains that she can't pay by card and that the money has to be a cheque made out to the school's nutritional services.

"We did it. Who's next? Let's go," she says as she walks out of the school.
She captioned the clip by explaining that she wanted to keep paying off overdue lunch accounts and encouraging followers to get involved by sending contributions to her Venmo.
"I never want to stop doing this. If u can afford to send a few dollars to my Venmo @sarahshooots we can keep paying it forward," she wrote.
Unsurprisingly, many people took to the comments section to thank Sarah for her kindness - and for inspiring them to do the same thing.
"As someone who sat in the bathroom during lunch for like 9 years bc I didn’t have food or $, I’m sobbing. Thank you," one person wrote. Another added: "School lunches should be FREE! However, you are a true angel."

"Oh my gosh, I'm going to do this. Thank you so much for sharing. It's something I never would have thought of," a third wrote, while a fourth commented: "My grandma was a teacher. She passed this year and I think I'll do this in her honor. Thanks for the idea!!"
