It would be no exaggeration to say that 2020 has been an upside-down year! So, now that Christmas is fast approaching, we might as well embrace it by, perhaps, getting our hands on an upside-down Christmas tree...

If you like the unconventional take on the traditional Christmas tree, then you'll be pleased to know there are plenty of retailers offering them - including Amazon, Christmas Tree World, and Wayfair.

Back in 2018, megastar Ariana Grande posted a snap of her own upside-down Christmas tree.

Check out Ariana's upside-down Christmas tree in her brother Frankie Grande's Instagram post from 2018.

But are upside-down Christmas trees still "in" this year? That's the question.

Well, one Facebook user by the name of Karen Joyner Mitchell wanted to know just that, and so took to Facebook.

In the Facebook group, "Black women who love the holidays", the lady posted an image she had Googled of an upside-down tree, writing in the caption: "The upside down [sic] tree - is that still a thing?"

In response, one user named Vickie Crutchfield shared: "I wish I had pictures of my son’s tree years ago!! It was an upside down [sic] tree with Spider-Man under it as if he was holding it up! If I were still into trees. I would definitely do it again."

Another Facebook user, Wanda Kahey, replied: "I have one but it's on the floor not the ceiling. I love it. It's my favorite tree. It will be up in a few weeks."

A third user named Beverly Renee Morgan-Glover admitted that she has never purchased an upside-down Christmas tree, however, thought it made for a striking piece of festive décor.

"It would look great coming off a chandelier. I might try that!!!" she wrote.
