According to multiple savvy Costco shoppers, the retailer has a spicy surprise in store for piquant chip lovers, in the form of an all-new “Flamin’ Hot” variety pack. Included in the selection are fan favourites Flamin' Hot Cheetos, Flamin' Hot Chester Fries, Flamin' Hot Funyuns, Flamin' Hot Cheetos Limón, as well as Flamin' Hot Munchies. 

The boxes, which contain a whopping 30 individual bags of chips, are currently retailing for just $9.99 each, which works out at a minuscule ¢33 per bag. Small wonder that the offer has gone down a storm on social media, with one Twitterer prompted to comment:

“my two loves togetha: @costco and flamin' hot everything! Costco's Flamin' Hot Favorites Is a Spicy Snack Lover's Dream.”

However, for fans of a few of the more niche flavours on offer, the box might prove a little frustrating. The bags are not split evenly between the five flavours, meaning that shoppers will receive eight bags of Flamin' Hot Cheetos, seven bags of Flamin' Hot Chester Fries, six bags of Flamin' Hot Funyuns, five bags of Flamin' Hot Munchies and four bags of Flamin' Hot Cheetos Limón. While Cheetos lovers will probably be happy, Munchies fans might have some issues. 

Clearly, as with any variety pack, it’s impossible to please everybody. But, so long as you like a bit of firepower with your snack selection, Costco’s latest big-box should be a winner. Judging by how excited most of the internet seems to be, Christmas 2019 looks like it will be seriously spicy.
