The colder nights are approaching, so now is the perfect time to sit back by the fire and reflect on more hopeful times to come after the wild ride that has been 2020.
Now, KFC has come up with the perfect solution to make your winter nights by the fire smell just perfect with its new eleven herbs and spices firelog.
Manufactured by Enviro-Log, the KFC log is suitable for use in fireplaces, fire pits, bonfires, wood stoves, and any other fire that you want to smell like the iconic fast-food restaurant.
The firelog is on sale in the US, and the cost of becoming the Colonel's ultimate fan is very reasonable.
A description for the item on Walmart's website, where it can be purchased for $15.88 (£12), reads: "Available for a limited time only! The KFC 11 Herbs & Spices Firelog from Enviro-Log is designed to make your home smell like fried chicken and feel as warm as an Extra Crispy drumstick at the bottom of a KFC bucket of fried chicken.
"This covetable firelog is made from 100% recycled materials and is a great gift idea for everyone on your holiday gift list."
The description also warns that the log "may result in a craving for fried chicken".
It then warns: "We know the firelog smells great, but please do not attempt to eat it. Please do not put your face directly into the fire in [an] attempt to smell fried chicken!"
You'd think not eating the log would be obvious, but we guess that's a testament to just how good it smells!
Once lit, the log will release the KFC smell that you know and love, and it will burn for between two-and-a-half and three hours.
However, if the firelog isn't enough for you to get your KFC fix, you can also get stuck into the chain's all-new triple-breaded 'Famous Chicken Sandwich'.
The new release consists of a triple-breaded, buttermilk marinated chicken breast, chunky pickles, double mayo, and a drizzle of garlic oil, so it really is not one to be missed.
However, it is currently only on sale in Canada, where it is also available in a "spicy" version, according to a report by ChewBoom. The sandwich retails around $7 Canadian dollars alone and it can be made into a meal with a drink and French fries for $9.
