Since the ill-thought vlog in which he filmed a dead body hanging from a tree in the 'suicide forest', disgraced YouTube star
Logan Paul has been laying low. The 22-year-old came under a lot of scorn for the video, with plenty of people deeming as inconsiderate, offensive and intrusive. Aside from the graphic imagery, the public was upset with the vlogger for laughing when discovering the body - something which he claims is a natural reaction when he is stressed.
After the video appeared online, it was instantly demanded that Paul
apologise and remove the video. While the American did quickly issue an
apology, not many people were convinced that he was actually apologetic, given the nature of the statement.

This led to the star recording another apology, in which he came across as more modest and sincere, saying:
"I made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgement, and I don’t expect to be forgiven. I’m simply here to apologise.
"What we came across in the woods that day was obviously unplanned. The reactions you saw on tape were raw; they were unfiltered. None of us knew how to react or how to feel. I should have never posted the video. I should have put the cameras down and stopped recording what we were going through.
"There's a lot of things I should have done differently but I didn't. And for that, from the bottom of my heart, I am sorry.
"I want to apologise to the internet. I want to apologise to anyone who has seen the video. I want to apologise to anyone who has been affected or touched by mental illness, or depression, or suicide. But most importantly I want to apologise to the victim and his family.

"For my fans who are defending my actions, please don't. I don’t deserve to be defended. My goal with my content is always to entertain; to push the boundaries, to be all-inclusive.
"In the world live in, I share almost everything I do. The intent is never to be heartless, cruel, or malicious. Like I said I made a huge mistake."
Since offering the apology, YouTube have frozen Logan's channel and he has gone quiet. However, in his first on-camera interview since the incident, the vlogger claims that "everyone deserves second chances bro."

In an exclusive video obtained by TMZ, Paul says that he has learnt "everything, so many things" in the fallout of the video and appears to suggest that he deserves to be given a second chance. He also agreed that he had been treated fairly by 'YouTube and the public' and claimed that he was still making money off of his clothing line, which continues to sell despite the controversy.
While I have no doubt that Logan regrets the actions he took in uploading that video, all press is good press for people like him. When he does make his eventual comeback, his viewing figures will be through the roof and he'll make a serious amount of cash from it.
