Two "nonhuman" bodies have been unveiled in Mexico, once again shining the spotlight on potential UFO life on our planet.
Aliens have long been the subject of intrigue for many across the world, and recently the hunt for extraterrestrial life has really amped up.
When alien life is allegedly found it always seems to be in the US for whatever reason, but it would seem that the otherworldly life forms have now moved south of the border and are in Mexico.
Renowned UFO investigator Jaime Maussan, accompanied by a team of scientists, unveiled two peculiar corpses before the Mexican Congress on Tuesday, sparking intense debates and conspiracy theories worldwide, per the Daily Mail.
The researchers asserted that these mysterious remains, enclosed in transparent cases and allegedly recovered from the depths of Cusco, Peru, were not part of the human evolutionary chain.
Mexican media reported that an astonishing 30 percent of their genetic makeup remains shrouded in mystery.
As per Sky News, the remains are estimated to be 1,000 years old.
According to Maussan, carbon dating conducted by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) determined that these figures, characterized by three-fingered hands, a lack of teeth, and stereoscopic vision, date back over a millennium.
Despite what seems to be a remarkable discovery, critics pointed out an unusual feature - these specimens appeared to be coated in what looked like sand, a detail rarely seen in well-preserved fossils subjected to rigorous analysis.
Nevertheless, Maussan, who has previously been associated with debunked alien theories, maintained his stance under oath, insisting: "These specimens are not part of our terrestrial evolution. They weren't found after a UFO wreckage. They were discovered in diatom [algae] mines and later fossilized."
He further added: "Whether they are aliens or not, we don't know, but they were intelligent and lived among us. They should rewrite history. We are not alone in this vast universe; we should embrace this reality."
The figures displayed in the congressional setting exhibited a humanoid shape with a retractable neck and elongated skulls. These beings also possessed lightweight, robust bones and were entirely toothless.
During the presentation, experts showcased apparent X-rays of the specimens and asserted that one of these beings carried "eggs" containing embryos within them, along with implants of the exceedingly rare cadmium and osmium metals, with osmium being considered one of the Earth's rarest precious metals.
Maussan hailed this event as a "watershed" moment, marking the first time Mexico had formally acknowledged this phenomenon.
Harvard's Astronomy Department Director, Abraham Avi Loeb, joined via video link and called upon the Mexican government to allow international scientists to conduct further research on these intriguing specimens. Retired US Navy Director and former Navy pilot Ryan Graves, who previously testified about UAP sightings and government classifications, was also present.
Graves had earlier claimed that UFOs were an "open secret" within the military, revealing that his squadron had regularly detected unidentified objects while stationed off the coast of Virginia in 2014.
Do you think we're alone in the universe?
