A man agreed to let his girlfriend have sex with other men while he's at work, emphasizing that it's not actually "cheating" if he's in on the plan.
Now, we all know that every relationship is different.
What works for one couple might not necessarily work for another, but one thing that's difficult for a lot of couples to ever envision is sharing their significant other with someone else - or, in this case, multiple people.
But Matt, 36, and Zoe, 31, from the United Kingdom, have decided that they're going to physically open the relationship up on one end so while Matt's at work, Zoe has her needs taken care of by other men.
Appearing on an episode of the YouTube series 'Love Don’t Judge', the 36-year-old opened up about how this unique setup has benefitted the relationship, especially in terms of trust.
"When agreed to it, I was happy, because I’d been cheated on [before], so I was quite happy to find someone who wasn’t gonna cheat back," Matt said.
He revealed that because he'd been hurt in the past, he felt as though this arrangement avoided that and opened up new levels of open communication for the pair.
And it's not like he was missing out on the action, as he received intimate content from a lot of Zoe's interactions.
"You’d send me pictures, videos," Matt said, referring to his partner. "I ended up being involved in it [virtually]... It was like my own amateur p*rn."
After Matt had suggested the idea just a few months after he started dating Zoe, the 31-year-old decided to embark on an OnlyFans career in order to make some extra cash from all the content she was filming anyway.
Despite the boyfriend admitting that sometimes he did feel jealous over the fact that his girlfriend was being physical with multiple other men, he said it was a "nice feeling" overall.
"I wouldn’t say I’d never be jealous," he said. "It’s quite a nice feeling, even though it’s jealousy. Because at the end of the day you know you’re included, and you know you're coming home to me."
In the hopes of making things more comfortable, Zoe suggested that Matt also arrange his own personal hookups with other women though he wasn't keen on the idea initially.
"I never wanted to sleep with anyone else," he revealed. "You wanted to see me do it."
Now though, the pair are happily sleeping with other people but are still together - however, the revealed that people outside of their relationship still have trouble grasping the idea of it all.
"It’s just people not understanding,” Zoe said before urging people to "educate" themselves.
"Many people think it’s a form of cheating but it’s not because I don’t do anything behind [Matt’s] back," she continued before Matt added: "We hide nothing from each other - at all - because there’s no need. Like I say, there’s more trust in this relationship than I've had with all the others."
I mean it isn't my cup of tea but if it works for them, then who are we to complain?
