A businessman was left in disbelief when he woke up in his hotel room to find a stranger sucking his toes.

Peter Brennan was spending the night at the Nashville Hilton Hotel when he was subjected to the early-morning assault by the establishment's manager David Patrick Neal, according to court records.

As per the Daily Mail, the alleged incident took place at approximately 5:00AM after Neal, 52, cloned the key to Brennan's room and entered before placing his lips around Brennan's toes.

Naturally, the guest screamed and called the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, who immediately arrested and charged the culprit with aggravated burglary and assault.

Brennan is also suing Neal for sexual assault.

Speaking to WKRN, the businessman recalled the strange incident stating that he felt completely violated after he realized what was happening.

"All my life you just have that sense of security, and that sense of peace, right? It's not like you're camping and you have to kind of keep one eye open," he told the outlet. "You have that security that's yours, and when you close your eyes, you feel like you're safe and you're protected and it was a complete violation."

"I was just so, so shocked," he continued. "It was, 'Who are you? Why are you in my room?' It was almost like a dream, a sort of nightmare. It just didn't make sense. Why is this person touching me?"

After he came to his senses, Brennan quickly realized that it was the hotel manager because he had previously come to his room to fix the TV set.

Neal later admitted to cloning a key to enter the room because he "smelled smoke", though police reports noted he hadn't reported the smells to anybody else at the time.

"He was talking to me but not giving me any substantive answers," the traumatized guest added before revealing that he is now seeking professional help.

"I'm having problems sleeping - going through some PTSD and talking to a therapist," he explained.

While Brennan first reported the incident to the hotel security, he believed that they weren't taking it seriously, so he called on the local police to get justice.

After some further digging, it was discovered that Neal actually had an extensive criminal history dating back to the '90s which includes manslaughter and drink driving.

"Multiple charges of forgery, drinking and driving, a manslaughter conviction as well, which served prison time,' Brennan's attorney Michael Fisher said. "When Hilton hired this person, they had to have known. They have to do background checks to know, and the fact that they would put somebody like that in a position where they have the ability to clone keys, have the ability to get into a guest's room."

As per the Mail, Neal is still being held after he didn't post $27,000 bail.
