The son of Charlotte Sena's alleged kidnapper has spoken out in a new, explosive statement.

Craig Nelson Ross Jr. was arrested on Tuesday on first-degree kidnapping charges after nine-year-old Sena was found in his trailer.

The little girl was declared missing while on a family camping trip at Moreau Lake State Park in upstate New York. three days ago. At the time, Sena was on a bike ride with a bunch of her friends when she decided to take another loop around the trail alone. The lap should have only taken approximately five minutes, but when the nine-year-old didn't return after a while, her parents got worried and notified the authorities.

As per CNN, Sena had last been seen around 6:15PM and was reported missing at approximately 6:45PM following the discovery of her bike but the little girl was nowhere to be seen.

Speaking to CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Monday evening, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said the break in the case came around 4:20AM ET when the suspect drove to Sena's parents' home and put a ransom note in the mailbox.

"He literally drove up to the family’s mailbox assuming they were not home," but what Ross Jr. failed to realize was that the house was under the watchful eye of the police.

The note was immediately sent over for testing and on their second try, the authorities got back results identifying fingerprints that belonged to 47-year-old Craig Nelson Ross, Jr., matching a 1999 DWI (driving while intoxicated) arrest, as per the governor.

SWAT teams were sent to his residence to make the arrest. It was reported that he sustained minor injuries as he resisted.

"They had what they call a dynamic entry tactical maneuver, and within the camper they located the suspect,” said Hochul.

But the important part was that they found little Sena hidden in a cabinet in the camper.

"She knew she was being rescued," the governor said. "She knew she was in safe hands."

Locals spoke out about Ross Jr. as well as his family, describing them as "reclusive."

"It's the best scenario that she's been found," one person told the Daily Mail. "Last night I heard sirens, and the entire road was covered with undercover cars and state police and Troopers. I asked if I should be concerned, and the police asked me to look at photos and I told them yeah, that's Craig he owns that house and his sons live there now."

They continued: "They're in their 20s, I've briefly seen them but they keep to themselves. My kids ride their bikes up to his mailbox and that's about it. He was pretty reclusive, he moved in shortly after us. He made a driveway earlier in the year and never quite finished it."

They also told the outlet: "This was his home up until about four weeks ago, he had to move back into the trailer with his mom because his MS [multiple sclerosis] got so bad."

In the wake of the arrest, one of Ross Jr.'s sons, Joshua, who also lived in the home was questioned at the scene by reporters, but he completely denounced any association with his father.

"We want nothing to do with him," Joshua Ross said as per the Mail. "I could give a f*** if the dude dropped dead tomorrow.

"I could give a f*** if anything, I couldn't care less. He's disgusting. He's gross! He should die, I couldn't care less," he continued before adding that he "couldn't give a rat's a** what happens" as per a reporter associated with TMZ.

The area still remains under the seizure of local authorities as the investigation continues.
