Todd and Julie Chrisley's son, Grayson, has recently been rushed to hospital after being involved in a serious car accident.

On Monday, Tennessee police told TMZ that Grayson was driving his Ford F-150 in Nashville when he drove into the back of a Dodge pickup truck that was waiting in traffic.

After the incident, which occurred on Saturday afternoon (November 19), the 16-year-old was quickly rushed to the hospital in the back of an ambulance after he couldn't recall anything that happened to him when questioned.

Healthcare professionals checked for any potential head injuries while also running further tests on the teen.

It was also reported that the driver of the truck Grayson crashed into suffered injuries as well, but they refused medical attention.

Due to the blow of the impact, both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Police said there have been no arrests, charges, or citations handed out so far.

Upon hearing the news of the accident, concerned fans rushed to social media to leave heartfelt messages for the young boy.

"So sad hope He’s OK My prayers for you," wrote one user.

"My word," wrote another along with the prayer emoji.

A third added: "So sad as if he's not going through enough already. When it rains it pours," referring to the family's current run-in with the law.

Back in June, Grayson's parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, were found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion are are currently awaiting sentencing.

Due to the nature of their crime, they could be facing up to 30 years in prison.

TMZ reported that according to a court clerk for the Northern District of Georgia, the couple’s accountant, Peter Tatantino, was also found guilty on a series of related charges — including aiding and abetting the filing of false tax returns.

The family's lawyer Bruce Morris told the outlet that they are "disappointed in the verdict" and plan on appealing it.
