A couple who were married for 75 years are set to be buried together in a joint funeral after dying within days of each other, at 101 and 97 years old.
Frances Chandler, 101, and her husband Bernard, 97, had been married for over seven decades when Frances died on November 6, with her husband passing away just three weeks later on November 29.
The couple's family has revealed that the pair will now be buried in the same ceremony so they may remain together even in death.
Frances and Bernard's incredible lives will be mourned by their five children, 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren as their double funeral is set to take place on Tuesday (December 19).
Their daughter, Pat McDougall, told the Bristol Post: "It's quite unique. The funeral director said they get a double funeral maybe once a year.
"It's nice now that they're together. When dad died we had already arranged mum's funeral but then had to change plans to keep them together, so we kind of felt like we were keeping her waiting - but obviously she knew dad was coming, didn't she?
"They're dancing together again and, ironically, they used to watch Strictly Come Dancing - and it just so happens that the final was this weekend - perhaps they were looking down on that."
The couple are set to be buried in Bristol, UK, but their funeral will pay tribute to Bernard's roots in London through the choice of music, with 'Maybe It's Because I'm A Londoner' being played in his honor, as well as 'The Lambeth Walk'.
Pat added: "We're having 'Smile' for mum as she walks in, because she always said 'I don't want you to cry' - but I'm sure we will."
The couple's funeral is set to end with 'The Last Waltz' in honor of the fact that the pair loved dancing, with Pat adding: "At the end, they're having 'The Last Waltz' and me and my siblings are going to stand around when they play it, so we can dance 'The Last Waltz' with them - they were both dancers and their life was dancing, really."
The pair's dance shoes will also be placed on top of their caskets, as well as a red rose each, as the pair continued teaching dance until old age.
Pat explained: "They were both dance teachers. They both used to have their own dance classes in the community with different styles.
"They used to teach modern sequence dancing right up until my mum was 90. That's been the love of their life - dancing - and that's how they met."
Frances, who was one of the last people to receive a 100th birthday card from the late Queen Elizabeth II, met Bernard at a dance in St Gerard's, Knowle, and the pair married in 1948 when they were just 26 and 21 years old.
The couple received one of the first cards from King Charles III in honor of their 75th wedding anniversary, which the family say they are going to keep in memory of the couple's amazing life, which saw Frances even cooking and cleaning for Bernard until she was 100 years old.
