A Philadelphia couple got married on Saturday afternoon, and after exchanging their vows, joined the city's Black Lives Matter protest.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Kerry Anne and Michael Gordon left Logan Hall to join the crowds of protesters at the Philadelphia Museum of Art to City Hall.
Their arrival didn't go unnoticed either, and the crowd temporarily stopped protesting to allow the newlyweds a chance to kiss and hold hands.
Watch them kiss below:Unrest continues to unfold across the US, as protests - some peaceful, some violent - are calling out the systemic injustices carried out against black people, not least seen by the recent deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor.
As well as a call for justice, these ongoing protests are also demanding an end to police brutality and the racism that is so deeply entrenched in America and the western world.
Saturday marked the eighth-straight day of protests in Philadelphia for the cause, and according to one journalist, the number of protestors in the city "just keeps growing".
Sharing a video of the protestors, Ellie Rushing of the Philadelphia Inquirer, wrote: "The Philadelphia Black Lives Matter protest just keeps growing. You can see people continuing to join the group from every angle. They’ll set off on their march in a few minutes."
The footage of the couple kissing at the protest was met with widespread praise on social media.
One Twitter user wrote: "Congratulations to the newlyweds! What a beautiful expression of love and hope for the future."
A second added: "Talk about a once in a lifetime wedding kiss."
A third wrote: "Their photo will be in history books."
This comes just two days after a different couple displayed another touching moment of love by getting engaged amid a BLM protest in Raleigh, North Carolina.
You can see the incredible moment below:Along with the video above, some touching black and white images were captured and shared to Twitter by photographer Charles Crouch, who captioned the post:
"In the midst of the chaos, I witnessed a proposal in the middle of a protest. Love conquers all. #GeorgeFloydProtests #riots2020 #RaleighDemandsJustice #BlacklivesMaters #blacklove"
