The news of his death, which occurred on Wednesday, July 3, was confirmed by online records from the New Montefiore Cemetery in New York.

According to Real Estate magazine The Real Deal, Miller was in the intensive care unit at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital prior to his passing.

Brandon and Candice Miller, who met during their childhood, were married in 2009, as reported by E! News. The couple shares two children.

Candice runs a lifestyle website with her sister Jenna Crespi. Brandon was a managing partner at Real Estate Equities Corporation (REEC), where he had worked since 2004, heading the acquisitions and finance department.

"Prior to joining REEC, he was in the commercial real estate group at Dillion Read Capital Management. During his time there, Brandon originated over $1 billion of commercial real estate loans," stated a post on the REEC website.

"In his role as Managing Partner at REEC, Brandon has originated a broad array of transactions including value-add, ground up, and repositioning of assets totaling in excess of several billion dollars," the website noted, also highlighting that Miller was a graduate of Brown University.

Brandon is also related to fashion blogger Arielle Charnas, who married Brandon Charnas, co-founder of Current Real Estate Advisors, in 2014.

In a 2019 interview with Mini Magazine, Candice expressed her deep affection for her husband and daughters, describing her daily routine balancing work and family life.

"On most days, what I really look forward to is arriving home, and sitting for dinners with my husband and my girls, followed by some very yummy snuggles before bedtime, where we all profess our love for one another over and over again," she said.

No cause of death for Brandon has been confirmed.

Recent reports reveal that Brandon was being sued by two companies over unpaid services at the time of his death.

In April, Interior Marketing Group Inc. filed a lawsuit against Brandon, claiming he owed $102,730.27 for luxury furnishing services.

According to Page Six, the lawsuit also accuses Brandon of failing to return over $64,000 worth of furniture from their Manhattan apartment.

The furnishings reportedly included "high-end living, dining, and bedroom furniture and various accessories, including, but not limited to, dining and family room fixtures, area rugs, table lamps, bedroom desks and chairs, credenzas, bedframes, pillows, draperies and sheers, and artwork."

In another lawsuit filed in May, Lighthouse Marina claimed Miller failed to pay for services on his boat, MillerTime, which had been at the Long Island marina since October 2020.

The marina alleged Miller ignored an October 2022 notice about a nearly $40,000 debt, which eventually grew to $55,205.76, per the Daily Mail.

The legal document stated: "Defendant received the boat, used it, enjoyed it and in result traded it in for a bigger boat, which Defendant would not have been able to do but for the repairs performed by Plaintiff. Defendant received the benefit of the repairs that were never paid for."
