Chloë Grace Moretz has officially tied the knot with her longtime partner, model Kate Harrison, after seven years together.
The couple, who have kept much of their relationship private, celebrated their wedding over Labor Day weekend.
Vogue confirmed the news on Monday, with Moretz later sharing photos from the celebration on Instagram.
The 27-year-old Carrie and Kick-Ass star wore two Louis Vuitton ensembles: a light blue gown for the ceremony and a tailored white jacket with matching trousers and cowboy hat for the after-party.
Harrison also embraced multiple looks, donning a white lace bustier with a matching skirt for the wedding and later switching into a chic bodice-and-trousers outfit.
Moretz explained to Vogue that the wedding reflected the couple’s shared passions and hobbies.
“A big part of the wedding [is about] sharing things that Kate and I love with everyone that’s going to be there,” she said.
Guests enjoyed activities like fishing, horseback riding, and poker, with Harrison even designing a custom poker mat for the occasion.
The festivities carried on into the following day with line dancing and other country-inspired traditions.
The celebrations were as much about creating memories with family and friends as they were about honoring Moretz and Harrison’s love story.
The couple first sparked dating rumors in 2018 after being photographed kissing in Malibu, California.
While they never publicly announced an engagement, speculation grew when Moretz posted a New Year’s Day Instagram photo in January 2024 showing both women wearing matching diamond rings.
“Happiest New Year, so thankful for what this year has brought,” Moretz captioned the post, which many fans interpreted as a subtle engagement reveal.
Moretz advocates for LGBTQ+ rightsDespite their long-term relationship, Moretz did not publicly confirm her sexuality until November 2024.
In an Instagram post encouraging Americans to vote early in the presidential election, she declared her support for then-candidate Kamala Harris and spoke openly about LGBTQ+ rights.
“I believe in the need for legal protections that protect the LGBTQ+ community as a gay woman,” she wrote.
“We need protections in this country and to have access to the care we need and deserve.”
Her activism echoed themes from her earlier work in the 2018 film The Miseducation of Cameron Post, in which she portrayed a young woman sent to a gay conversion camp.
At the time, Moretz emphasized the importance of resisting labels, telling The Independent: “We’re all human, trying to be with the people that we fall in love with and be the best person that we can be.”
From their first public outing in Malibu to their intimate, activity-filled wedding, Moretz and Harrison have built a relationship rooted in love and authenticity.
Now officially married, the couple enters a new chapter, one that reflects both their shared passions and their ongoing commitment to living authentically in the public eye.
