Comedian Neel Nanda has tragically passed away at the age of 32.

Per the Daily Mail, Nanda's passing was confirmed by a number of top comedy clubs - such as The Port Comedy Club and The Comedy Chateau.

While the details surrounding his death are currently limited, the star's death has left a void in the comedy world - prompting heartfelt tributes from fellow comedians and fans alike.

Nanda's comedic talents had earned him national recognition and spots on hit TV shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Comedy Central's Adam Devine's House Party.

Upon learning of Nanda's passing, many fellow comedians - including Matt Rife and Dane Cook - took to social media to pay their respects.

Rife expressed his sorrow, describing Nanda as one of the nicest and hardest-working comedians he had the privilege to call a friend.

"RIP Neel Nanda," Rife tweeted. "You were one of the nicest, hardest working comedians I’ve ever called a friend and i hope you can be at peace brother."

Cook, though not personally acquainted with Nanda, urged people to seek help if they were going through difficult times, emphasizing that support was available.

"I didn’t know Neel Nanda personally but reading several tributes is both heart breaking and eye opening," Cook wrote. "I echo so many in expressing there is help out there. Please remember you are never alone. People want to help you. There is a path through your pain. Prayers to [Neel's] family, friends and fans. Dial 988 for help and love."

Content creator Nick Kaufman fondly remembered Nanda as a genuinely sweet and funny comic.

"I just heard Neel Nanda passed away," Kaufman began his tribute. "When I was doing standup he was everywhere. He founded a podcast network and ran two of the best shows on the westside.

"Not only was he a great comedian, he worked harder than anybody else on the scene."

Once again, details surrounding Nanda's death are currently unconfirmed at this time.

German comedian Mario Adrion shared a photo from their recent show, writing: "Rest in peace my friend @neelnanda [...] I just did shows with him in Canada last week and am f***ing heartbroken.

"We only met this year but he brought a lot of light and positivity into my life in the short time I got to spend with him.

"Neel was a great comedian and always made an effort to lift up others around him- I am grateful I got to meet him. Much love to his family and everyone who’s grieving!"

Comedian Adam Newman also shared a group photo, highlighting Nanda's generosity and lamenting his significant loss to the comedy world.

Childhood friends of Nanda also shared their memories, posting throwback photos and recalling their cherished moments with the beloved comedian. Spencer Breslin described Nanda as truly one of the funniest people he had ever known, emphasizing the impact he had on those around him.

Producer Brian Cullen, a longtime friend of Nanda, revealed that they had recently discussed a project for the new year, underscoring the sudden and unexpected nature of the comedian's passing. Film writer Jacob Sirof shared his memories of meeting Nanda in 2014 and recounted a memorable show with an unusual audience.

Nanda had celebrated his birthday earlier in the month by performing a series of comedy shows.

He kickstarted his comedy career in his hometown of Alpharetta, Georgia, before making the move to southern California. His weekly live show, Unnecessary Evil, held at the Westside Comedy Theater in Los Angeles, earned recognition as one of the city's top ten stand-up comedy shows by LA Weekly. He also contributed to Hulu's Coming to the Stage and Viceland's Flophouse.

In a 2018 interview, Nanda reflected on his proudest moment in comedy, citing his performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! as a dream come true. He expressed his gratitude, explaining that appearing on the show hosted by Jimmy Kimmel was particularly special because it was the first time his parents were fans of the host, despite his previous work on various networks.

"I would say my proudest accomplishment thus far in comedy is performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!," he told VC Reporter. "I've always wanted to do a set on late night, and Jimmy Kimmel was my first choice."

Born in Atlanta to parents who immigrated from India after an arranged marriage, Nanda's passion for comedy had been a lifelong pursuit. Even in middle school, he was drawn to comedy, diligently jotting down his favorite jokes from Comedy Central to later share and retell at school.

The Mail reports that he leaves behind his grieving family, including his father, mother, and sister.
