"Sending love to all of you who shared our musical journey. Look after each other y’hear."

In a heartwarming statement shared one the musician's Instagram page, Bliss and fellow Faithless member Rollo (Rowland Constantine O'Malley Armstrong), as well as Jazz's bandmates from The E-Type Boys wrote: "We are heartbroken to say Maxi Jazz died peacefully at his home in South London last night.

"He was a man who changed our lives in so many ways. He gave proper meaning and message to our music.

"He was also a lovely human being with time for everyone and a wisdom that was both profound and accessible. It was an honour and, of course , a true pleasure to work with him."

"He was a brilliant lyricist, a DJ, a Buddhist, a magnificent stage presence, car lover, endless talker, beautiful person, moral compass and genius.

"Rollo, Sister Bliss & The E-Type Boys."

Faithless formed back in 1995, and are perhaps best known for their singles 'Insomnia' and 'God is a DJ'. Their 2004 album No Roots reached number one in the UK charts, with the band one again hitting the top spot in 2015 with their remix album, Faithless 2.0.

Our thoughts go out to Jazz's family, friends, and fans at this time.
