The baseless speculation gained traction online after fake social media accounts impersonating Mason began spreading claims that he had a one-year-old daughter named Piper, News.com.au reports.
In a rare public statement on March 2, Kardashian addressed the false reports via Instagram Stories, making it clear that there is no truth to the rumor.
Kourtney Calls Out ‘Fake’ Accounts and Media Speculation
“I rarely address rumors or conspiracies regarding myself or my family, but this is about my child, and it feels wrong to let anyone think for a second that these lies are remotely true,” Kardashian wrote.
“Mason does not have a child. These accounts that pretend to be him are definitely not. They are FAKE.”

The reality star also pleaded with media outlets and online creators to respect Mason’s privacy, emphasizing that he is just a teenager with his whole life ahead of him.
“My son really values his privacy, and I am asking all media to please be respectful: he is a kid with feelings and a beautiful life ahead of him. Please stop spreading false narratives and spinning lies.”
Kardashian also called out influencers and content creators who have been making videos discussing her children: “And to all the other people making videos about my kids (who, by the way, are minors), please stop and leave them alone.”
The Origins of the Viral Hoax
The false claim appears to have originated when an Instagram account impersonating Mason Disick began answering questions about a supposed daughter named "Piper".
As the rumors spread across social media, some users began speculating that the Kardashian family was “hiding” the child, fueling the conspiracy.

However, Mason does not have any public social media accounts engaging in this kind of conversation.
While he does have an official Instagram account, which he launched in 2023 and is followed by his mother and other family members, he has largely remained out of the public eye.
Out of the five posts on his page, his face is hidden in three of them, signaling his preference for privacy.
Scott Disick Talks About Parenting and Mason’s Teenage Years
The rumors about Mason surfaced shortly after his father, Scott Disick, made an appearance on Khloé Kardashian’s podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land in January 2025.
During the episode, Disick opened up about raising a teenage son, including how he gives Mason relationship advice now that he’s getting older.
“Mason especially, if he’s going through something, you know, I talk to him about my life. Like mistakes that I did. Like here’s what I’ve done and what’s worked for me, what hasn’t worked for me,” Disick shared.
“Even recently, he’s starting to really like girls. And obviously, girls like him. I just said, ‘You know, it’s like, you can do whatever you want, just don’t lie and don’t manipulate any girls.’”
While Disick’s comments were about typical teenage experiences, they were not connected to the false paternity rumor.
A Protective Mother and a Growing Family
Mason is the eldest child of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, who also share Penelope, 12, and Reign, 10. In November 2023, Kardashian welcomed her fourth child, Rocky Barker, with her husband Travis Barker, whom she married in 2022.
Barker, the Blink-182 drummer, also has three children from his previous relationship: Alabama Barker, 19, Landon Barker, 21, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 25.
Despite being a high-profile family, Kardashian has consistently advocated for her children’s privacy. As false rumors about Mason continue to circulate online, she is making it clear that she will not tolerate misinformation or speculation about her kids.
