Paramedics were called and boarded the plane after the flight landed at Los Angeles International Airport.

A witness to the incident told In Touch: "Mike had some kind of medical emergency on the plane and paramedics boarded. Before the paramedics arrived the flight issued an announcement asking for a doctor — the message even came on everyone’s screens.

"There was a lot of buzz when he left the Admirals Club and got to the gate. A lot of fans recognized him, and a few people got pictures. He was very accommodating and then he was escorted away from the gate because the flight was delayed because the gate person said that the plane was too hot because it had been sitting all day and had to cool down."

A representative for the fighter has since confirmed that Tyson became "nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing".

"[Tyson] is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him," the rep continued, adding that the former champ is now "doing great".

The startling news comes just weeks before the 57-year-old Tyson is set to come out of retirement for a professional fight against influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul - who is 30 years his junior.

Their highly anticipated fight will take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Saturday, July 20.

Earlier this month, Tyson appeared a press conference for the upcoming bout, and told reporters: "Once [Paul is] in that ring, he has to fight like his life depends on it, because it will be."

We hope Tyson is feeling better and is able to go through with the fight.
