A video has emerged on TikTok showing a "cleaning queen" giving the home of an elderly couple a makeover.

The footage was originally shared by a TikTok user going by the handle @aurikatariina, a self-proclaimed cleaning fanatic who enjoys helping other people get their living space spic and span.

But in a video she shared on her channel on April 11, she explained that an elderly couple who were both in their eighties were too weak to clean their house, and were living in unsanitary conditions as a result.

Thus, Auri shared a video of herself spraying, scrubbing, wiping, dusting, and vacuuming for several hours, employing bin bags, wipes, and her customary pink rubber gloves, in a marathon cleaning session.

Eventually, the house was sparkling like brand new, and Auri even filmed the reactions of the two elderly people who were touched by her kind gesture to them.

In a series of captions, Auri explained in her video: "These elderly people couldn't manage to take care of their house anymore."

She continued: "They were over 80-years-old but didn't have anyone helping them out. This was hands down the most gratifying cleaning days ever. My heart melted when this lovely lady was crying from happiness."

Suffice it to say, but Auri's footage has picked up a lot of attention on the platform, and currently boasts over 14.4 million views, 2 million reactions, and a further 13,000 comments from other TikTok users as of the time of writing.

For instance, one person wrote: "It's so sad that ANY elderly person lives like this, we need systems in place to make sure this doesn't happen :( [sic]."

A second TikTok user wrote: "This makes me so sad because my grandmother lives [on] her own and has been struggling keeping up on her dishes and laundry."

Meanwhile, a third person chimed in: "Oh thank you so much... my dad never told us he couldn't take care of himself anymore and we found much worse when he died. It was heartbreaking."

This commenter then stated: "Their quality of life will be through the roof now [...] You're a gem!"

Finally, another commenter wrote: "Bless you for doing this and being non-judgemental x [sic]"

A 93-year-old woman has recently gone viral after her iconic reaction to her ex's death - and despite how morbid the concept might sound, her reaction really makes up for it.

Lillian Droniak has taken the world by storm after she got herself all dolled up to attend her ex's funeral and posted it as a nonchalant 'Get Ready With Me' on TikTok.

It all started when the senior citizen took to the video-sharing platform on November 26 and revealed that one of her ex-boyfriends, Bruce, would no longer be calling her because he died, which is what set off one of her story times.

"January me: does our ex ever stop calling???" she captioned footage of herself holding a flip phone before cutting to her laughing at a picture of his tombstone: "November me: yes."

"RIP Bruce but now you can't call me," she added in the now-deleted clip.

While it might have just seemed like a joke to some, a few days later Lillian filmed a 'Get Ready With Me' video before heading to her ex's funeral, saying she wanted to go see him one last time to send him off.

"I don't want to put too much makeup on - I don't want to steal the show," she told her followers in a video that has now been viewed more than 45 million times.

She then put on some blush before putting on a splash of color on her lips in homage to the late Bruce.

"You can't forget the lipstick," she continued, opting for a shade of baby pink. "He used to like this color."

After her makeup was done, it was time to get her outfit sorted and Lillian being Lillian obviously went for a slinky black fur coat - not fully appropriate, but iconic nonetheless.

"I don't want to look too nice because this is a funeral," she added.

Once the event was done and dusted, the 93-year-old took to TikTok again to discuss her outfit one more time: "This is the outfit I wore to my ex's funeral, but I didn't want to be rude and film this at the cemetery, so I'm doing it on my deck. I was best dressed." she wrote in the on-screen text.

"I think I slayed the funeral," she added in the caption. "But RIP Bruce you were handsome."

But while her followers commended her for "slaying", a woman claiming to be Bruce's daughter sent her an angry letter, slamming her for joking about the sensitive occasion.

"Hello Lillian, I am the daughter of your ex that just passed away. I can't believe you made a joke on TikTok about him passing and you slaying at his funeral. Your [sic] rude and I hope you stop 'slaying' really soon... if you know what I mean," the email read.

Savage.

However, she didn't seem to be too bothered by the reaction, and instead doubled down on her approach saying: "I never regret slaying even if it's at a funeral and it sounds like Sue doesn't know how to slay."

You gotta do what you gotta do, especially in the climate we're in.

RIP Bruce.

A woman has claimed that a man at her gym handed her a framed photo of herself after keeping it on his own bedside table for days.

TikToker Mackenzie, who goes by the username @liftymcthicc, posted a video last month showing three of the photos that the man gave her, one of which was framed.

Playing in the background of the clip is a sound bite from America's Next Top Model in which the show's creator and main judge, Tyra Banks, can be heard telling a group of competing models: "How many people were scared? Me too. I was really, really scared."

At the time of writing, the video has since racked up three million views and nearly 3,000 comments from concerned users on the platform.

The fitness fanatic also posted the video to her Instagram account, this time including a lengthy caption to provide extra details.

In the post, Mackenzie revealed that she was actually the second girl that this had happened to.

She wrote: "I almost didn’t tell anyone at my gym cause as soon as this happened, I wanted to cry and leave. But I’m glad I spoke up, we can’t let things like this be seen as normal or okay."

The content creator went on to say that his interactions with her initially appeared "harmless", however, soon enough red flags began to emerge.

Mackenzie recalled how "he began to make comments about how I shouldn’t gain anymore muscle and then insisted on two different occasions that we take a photo together."

She added: "This man even confidently told me that he kept the FRAMED PICTURE of me on his night stand for 2 days before giving it to me !!! What the f*** is wrong with people, I’ll never know."

Mackenzie then shared how staff at the gym responded to the man's concerning conduct, explaining that they "put a warning on his account".

They also spoke to the man, which resulted in him getting "very defensive" and claiming that it, in actual fact, it was the girls who were supposedly asking him for pictures - not him.

The situation appeared to sort itself out when the man's son called the gym himself and told staff they needed to cancel his father's membership.

Mackenzie added: "I can’t even begin to imagine what he told his son for him to be that concerned about his father, but I’m just glad he’s gone."

Concluding her post, she advised other women to "stay safe" and "never feel bad for not being friendly to strangers."

The social media user reiterated the additional details in an update video posted to her TikTok account.

She explained that when she told the front desk about how uncomfortable she felt by the encounter, they initially told her they were not able to cancel his membership.

It was only when the man's son called the workout facility and told them to cancel his father's membership that the action was realized, she explained again.

Mackenzie continued, as she held up the framed photo of her: "I'm not sure if it's because he saw this lovely photo of myself sitting on his dad's bedside table for two days. Because that's what he told me he did with the photo."

She remarked at the end of the video: "So, I'm safe, I guess."

A beloved TikToker has tragically died at the age of 22, her boyfriend announced in a heartbreaking video.

Leah Smith, from Liverpool, UK, was diagnosed with bone cancer in 2019 and chronicled her battle with the disease on TikTok and Instagram.

She passed away in the morning of Monday (March 12) from Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer in the bones and soft tissue.

Taking to TikTok on her behalf, Leah's boyfriend Andrew announced the tragic news to her half a million followers.

The video has been viewed 8 million times, racking up 731,000 likes and 60,000 comments at the time of writing.

In the clip, the grieving boyfriend said: "I just want to say thank you to everyone. All your comments did help. She did actually read all of them. And anyone who said anything nice ever, it means more than you realized.

"We’ll all miss Leah and we’ll make sure that we never forget her. I want to see everyone speaking about Leah and how amazing she is and how much she helped everyone. We’ll never let Leah be forgotten."

Several high-profile TikTokers took to the comments to express their devastation over the loss of the young content creator.

Fellow TikToker Katylee Bailey wrote: "Leah was such a beautiful person inside and out! She will never be forgotten! Rest in peace."

A follower penned: "Leah Smith. A girl we will never forget – rest in paradise angel. Thoughts are with you all."

Another TikTok user commented: "RIP Leah Smith. A truly inspirational woman xx."

This user simply wrote: "i’m acc in tears [sic]."

A friend of Leah, Vikki, had earlier in the week shared an update on the TikToker's health, stating that she was "unable to move or talk" and was on "end of life" care.

"The main thing is, is that Leah is so peaceful now, she looks as beautiful as ever and we’re just grateful we can be at her bedside and hold her hand to comfort her through it," she continued.

In one of the last TikTok posts that she uploaded herself, Leah was seen eating pasta from her hospital bed.

"Ate my dinner for the first time in 3 weeks proud of myself," she captioned the post.

In another devastating video posted to her TikTok page last month, Leah informed her followers - in the update she "never wanted to do" - that doctors had concluded her treatment.

She said: "The doctors have said there’s no point trying to give me more antibiotics and fluids because it just isn’t working anymore. All the pain meds aren’t working so they really just want to get me to a comfortable state as much as possible.

"Idk what this means for me if it is the end of the journey but all my family have come around and I am just going to act like I’m good and great because quit frankly I am so so scared. I don’t want to die yet. I’m sorry."

A woman has taken to social media to slam the actions of men after a guy followed her for five miles... just so he could tell her she was "pretty".

As reported by Indy100, the video was shared by a social worker by the name of Kenny, who posts to Tiktok under the handle @buzzcutkenny.

Over the weekend, Kenny posted a video detailing how a male stranger followed her back to her apartment complex just to pay her a compliment. She captioned the disturbing video: "I hate males WHY WOULD THIS EVER BE OK".

Sitting in a vehicle, she starts by saying: "At this point, I’m sorry, but men should not have rights - at this point. Listen to what just happened..."

(Kenny did later clarify her choice of words in the comments section, saying: "I don’t actually think men shouldn’t have rights, holy s**t: y’all are just terrifying."

In the video, she continues by explaining: "So I just got home and there was a car who pulled up behind me, right, which is fine because I live in an apartment complex and that’s normal."

"But this car wedges itself between me and the parking garage, and there’s a man in it," she adds. "He motions for me to roll my window down, so I did and I was like, ‘Can I help you?’"

The male stranger then asks if Kenny lived in the building, to which a concerned Kenny replied "no" and that she was just there visiting a friend.

He then reveals that he saw Kenny at a red light, and opted to follow her for five miles just to let her know she is pretty. An understandably furious and concerned Kenny then asks: "In what f**king world is that appropriate?"

Amazingly - but perhaps unsurprisingly - there were actually comments from users defending the man's actions.

One TikTok user wrote: "He probably didn't want to cause an accident or hold up traffic. [He] just wanted to give you a compliment."

However, these sorts of comments were quickly shut down - with one person having to explain: "Men, listen to what she's saying. This kind of behavior scares women. This about that, next time you consider doing something like this!"

A second added: "All these men saying 'not all men' will change their tune when it comes to their daughters. But no one wants to talk about that".

A third bluntly suggested: "When you pass someone that is pretty or whatever... you just think 'she's pretty' and go about your day. You do NOT follow them to compliment then!"

And fourth commented: "The wedging, the interrogation and the stalking all red flags. Never have I wanted to meet someone so bad."

But perhaps what was even more distressing was the number of other women sharing their own stories about being approached in public:

Put simply: This is unacceptable.
