Bryar - who was 44 years old at the time of his death - is perhaps best known to fans for being the longest-tenured drummer of the American rock band.
TMZ reports that authorities confirmed the musician's death after visiting his home on Wednesday (November 27).
The publication reports that the drummer was last seen alive on November 4.
Law enforcement officials have stated that foul play is not believed to have played a part in Bryar's passing and that a medical examiner is currently determining the drummer's cause of death.
Following the heartbreaking discovery, Animal Control workers removed the drummer's two dogs from the home.

Bryar was a talented drummer who played a crucial role in My Chemical Romance's global success. He joined the band in 2004, replacing Matt Pelissier, and quickly became known for his energetic and powerful drumming style.
Bryar's drumming was a key element in the band's sound, particularly on their breakthrough album, The Black Parade (2006). His contributions to this album, along with his work on other MCR releases like Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, helped solidify the band's place in the alternative rock scene.
Unfortunately, Bryar left My Chemical Romance in 2010 due to personal reasons. It was reported that Bryar wasn't a fan of the direction the band's Danger Days album was taking.
A statement from the band at the time of Bryar's departure read: "As of 4 weeks ago, My Chemical Romance and Bob Bryar parted ways. This was a painful decision for all of us to make and was not taken lightly. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors and expect you all to do the same."
His final contribution to the band was on their last album, Conventional Weapons, released in 2013. Following his departure, Bryar would tour for various bands, before retiring from the music industry in 2014 in order to pursue a career in real estate and animal rescue.

In order to fund his passion for animal rescue, he would often auction off prized memorabilia from his time in the 'The Black Parade'.
Tragically, Bryar would often voice anger regarding his departure from the band with fans on social media. In 2015, he tweeted: "It’s been about five years since I was kicked out of MyChem
"I became the most depressed, angry, suicidal person ever."
In another tweet, he told fans he was "on so many pills", adding: "It still bothers me every day. In a recent conversation, I was told I won’t be back."
During his tenure with the band, Bryar was hospitalized while filming the music video for 'Famous Last Words'. The injury was a severe burn to his leg while later developed a serious infection.

Bryar had not returned to the band since his departure, with the remaining My Chemical Romance Members - Gerard Way, Ray Toro, Mikey Way, and Frank Iero - are set to tour next year.
On the band's most recent Instagram post, fans are flooding the comments section with tributes to Bryar.
Previous members of the band also include Matt Pelissier and James Dewees.
