Hyper-realistic 4K death simulation floors viewers who no longer fear dying
A video claiming to depict what death really looks like has left viewers feeling better about the end-of-life transition.
The 2023 video has resurfaced on YouTube in recent weeks, and it has got people talking about what they think about the concept of death.
People often clash on what happens once you die, or what you see if you have a near-death experience, and this can differ depending on your faith and beliefs.
You may believe in the afterlife, or that everything goes black once your time comes - but a content creator has tried to depict what may happen if you have a close brush with death.
Many have come back from the brink of death and described what they saw, leading others to envisage what it may look like.
The YouTube video is titled 'Near Death Experience Simulation', and it shows viewers 'what happens after death, from Near-Death to Hell to Heaven to New Life.'
What happens in the video?
The video starts with a man falling over and injuring himself, before passing out and seemingly rising beyond the ceiling of his home.
He can then be seen in what looks like hell, with what looks like a human heart, part of a skull, and red and brown-colored objects scattered around a room, before noticing a fire coming from the ground as tense music plays.
The man can then be seen traveling toward a bright light at the end of a dark void, before floating through the clouds in what is meant to be the journey towards heaven.
Sparkles and bright colors can be seen flashing across the screen, with peaceful music playing.
He is then seen at what initially looks like the gates of heaven, before realizing it is a field, which suddenly turns pink, before shifting colors with each movement.
The tranquil experience can draw similarities to what those who have experimented with hallucinogenic drugs have undergone.
Wildlife appears vibrant, with colors remaining fluid and vivid.
The man can then be seen feeling different textures on a table, before waking and realizing that everything is normal once again, indicating that he overcame the near-death experience.
Obviously, this is just a depiction and hasn't scientifically been proven to be accurate.
How have viewers reacted?
One took to the comments, writing: "Thank you - I won't be afraid to die anymore. Your POV/simulation gives me courage that everything will end well, again - Thank you, kind internet stranger!"
Another echoed these thoughts, saying: "Thank you so much for this video! I always was fascinated by near death experiences, and this just gave me a glimpse to the ever astounding experience! Love from Maryland, USA."
"This is what I see when I’m high on shrooms!" a third pointed out, observing the focus on colors and textures.
However, some weren't as convinced, as a different user penned: "As someone who had an NDE experience, it’s impossible to replicate, so this is very far from it in terms of resolution."
