The announcement comes less than three weeks after Osbourne performed from a throne at Birmingham’s Villa Park, delivering a heartfelt goodbye to his fans, per Sky News.

"You've no idea how I feel - thank you from the bottom of my heart," he told the crowd.

Billed as his "final bow," the concert featured performances from Metallica and Guns N’ Roses - two of his favorite acts - and marked a powerful closing chapter for the Prince of Darkness.

Osbourne, who grew up in Birmingham, helped define heavy metal as the lead vocalist of Black Sabbath, delivering genre-defining hits like 'Iron Man,' 'Paranoid,' and 'War Pigs.'

He later carved out a massive solo career with classics such as 'Crazy Train' and 'Changes'.

But Osbourne wasn’t just a musical force - he was a full-blown cultural icon.

His wild on-stage antics became rock legend, including the infamous moment he bit the head off a bat mid-performance.

Then came The Osbournes, MTV’s wildly popular reality show that chronicled his unfiltered home life in Los Angeles with wife Sharon and children Kelly and Jack.

In recent years, Osbourne’s health became a growing concern.

He had been battling Parkinson’s disease and suffered a serious fall in 2019, leading to a string of canceled tour dates.

Still, he defied expectations with a surprise appearance at the 2022 Commonwealth Games closing ceremony in Birmingham, giving fans one more glimpse of the rock titan.

The rockstar's death comes around a week after his daughter, Kelly Osbourne hit back at a viral AI-generated video that sparked fresh concern over his health.

In a post shared to her Instagram Stories, the 40-year-old television personality and daughter of the Black Sabbath frontman addressed the misleading clip, which appeared to show Ozzy declaring he was nearing death.

“It has a voice like my dad’s, David Attenborough or something,” Kelly said, according to E! News. “And it starts out saying, ‘I don’t need a doctor to tell me that I’m going to die. I know I’m going to die.’”

Outraged by the video, Kelly slammed those responsible: “What the f**k is wrong with you people? Why would you spend your time making a video like this?”

“Ozzy is not dying,” she said. “Yes, he has Parkinson’s, and yes, his mobility is completely different than it used to be, but he’s not dying. What is wrong with you?”
