A pilot has gone viral after drawing a shape that greatly resembles a penis while waiting to land.

The pilot was in charge of flight LH350, from Frankfurt to Bremen in Germany on 3 March. He drew the phallic shape as the plane was forced to circle above the airport upon arrival.

The provocative image was then posted by the official Twitter account of FlightRadar24, a site that tracks commercial flights all over the world.

It wrote: “LH350 landed on second landing attempt” along with a crying-laughing emoji.

Plenty of things have an unintentional yet totally hilarious phallic appearance. This is the moment Gordon Ramsay called out one of the chef's on Hell's Kitchen for prepping a dish that looked like a "bison's penis":

Unsurprisingly, the tweet received a lot of attention from Twitter users, who couldn't wait to inject even more humor in the resulting thread.

“So they cocked-up their first pass?” wrote one user, while another said, "Come again?"

"Balls complete, gotta navigate over here to the shaft," a different user quipped.

And then came this classic penis pun: "Landing a plane is HARDER than people think."

The original tweet has since racked up over 2,000 retweets and nearly 7,000 likes.

It is not yet known whether the drawing was intentionally rude or not.

But it comes two years after a US naval jet made an outline of a giant phallus in the sky using the aircraft’s contrails. The story went viral back in November 2017 after a Navy E/A-18 Growler warplane flew over Washington's Okanogan County in a questionable air pattern.

“Sophomoric and immature antics of a sexual nature have no place in Naval aviation today,” Vice Admiral Mike Shoemaker, the commander of Naval Air Forces, said in a statement at the time, per CNBC.
