Power Rangers star Jason David Frank has passed away at the age of 49.
As reported by Metro, the actor is perhaps best known to fans for his portrayal of Green Ranger Tommy Oliver in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - a villain to the butt-kicking good guys.
After making his debut on the show in season one in 1993, he would later go on to transform into the White Ranger and align with the Power Rangers as a result of his popularity among fans.
In total, Frank appeared in 123 episodes of the show as part of the main cast.

Per TMZ, a statement from the actor's representative, Justine Hunt, read: "Please respect the privacy of his family and friends during this horrible time as we come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful human being.
"He loved his family, friends and fans very much. He will truly be missed."

Hunt added that Frank passed away in Texas.
No official cause of death has been reported at this time.
A respected actor and mixed martial artist, Frank would go on to appear in multiple Power Rangers shows, movies, and video games within the franchise. These included Wild Force, Turbo, Zeo, Dino Thunder, Megaforce, Ninja Steel, and HyperForce.
Additionally, as well as being the White and Green Ranger, Frank would also don the Black and Red Ranger suits throughout his character arc.
As an athlete, Frank held multiple belts in an array of mixed martial arts. These included an 8th dan black belt in Shotokan Karate, a black belt in Taekwondo, a black belt in Judeo, and a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
In the MMA world, Frank made his highly anticipated MMA debut in January 2010, defeating Jonathon "The Mack Truck" Mack in the first round.
Following several more amateur victories, Frank would have his first professional MMA bout on August 4, 2010, at Puro Combate #1. Frank defeated opponent Jose Roberto Vasquez in just 46 seconds by submission with a rear naked choke. This would be his only pro-MMA fight and victory.
Following the news of Frank's passing, tributes have flooded in on social media, with one fan hailing him as "the greatest Power Ranger to ever live".
Our thoughts go out to Frank's family, friends, and fans at this time.
