Rebel Wilson has come out as a member of the LGBTQI+ community this Pride Month, unveiling her girlfriend to the world.
In a touching Instagram post to her 10.9 million followers, the 42-year-old Pitch Perfect star shared a picture alongside fashion designer Ramona Agruma, along with the caption: "I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess."
Wilson accompanied the caption with heart and rainbow emojis, as well as the hashtag "#loveislove".
The heartwarming post has amassed more than 400,000 likes and over 4,400 comments in a matter of hours.
As you can see from the comments below, Wilson's public display was well-received by many of her famous friends, as she received messages of love and support from stars like Ariana DeBose and Arielle Kebbel.
Agruma is the founder of the fashion brand Lemon Ve Limon, a Los Angeles-based sustainable clothing brand "designed to take you places in comfort and style", per its Instagram bio.
A friend of the Australian actor told People: "Rebel's in an amazing place and I've never seen her happier."
Additionally, Wilson had told the publication last month that she had recently been set up with somebody "through a friend", but didn't say any more about who the mystery love interest was.
"We spoke on the phone for weeks before meeting," Wilson told People. "And that was a really good way to get to know each other," she said. "It was a bit old-school in that sense — very romantic."
Wilson's last public relationship was with Jacob Busch - whose family founded the brewing company Anheuser-Busch, per People.
They dated for approximately four months before breaking up in February 2021.
In May, The Hustle star told Today that she was happily in a relationship.
After explaining that they had been set up through a mutual friend, Wilson added: "I think that escalates things quicker, because it’s from a trusted source.
"You’re like, ‘Yeah, OK, I can trust this person.' They are who they say they are, which is something on the apps that you don’t really know."
After revealing that she had dated "over 50 people" over the last few years, Wilson added: "I deliberately wanted to push myself and date a whole bunch of people and get that experience, which I know, in itself, is not normal.
"But to me, it actually really helped in finding what I liked and what I didn’t like. It was a fun thing."
Such wonderful news! It's amazing to see them both looking so happy! We wish both Wilson and Agruma the very best for the future.
