A shocking incident at an independent wrestling show in Los Angeles has gone viral after footage captured the son of ex-UFC fighter Quinton “Rampage” Jackson violently attacking a wrestler in the ring.

The clip shows 25-year-old Raja Jackson, an MMA fighter and Rampage’s son, lifting wrestler Stuart Smith — who performs under the name Syko Stu — over his head before slamming him onto the mat at a Knokx Pro Wrestling event.

Jackson then unleashed a flurry of punches on Smith as he lay motionless on the canvas, prompting other wrestlers to rush in and break up the assault.

According to Fightful reporter Sean Ross Sapp, while the confrontation between Jackson and Smith was staged, the level of violence was not.

“Based on what I've heard, the spot with Raja Jackson at Knokx Pro Wrestling was planned. However, Raja Jackson knocked the person out -- ring name Syko Stu-- and followed up with a lot of heavy punches to Syko Stu, which were not planned to do that kind of damage,” Sapp explained on X.

“Stu was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. We are working to find out more and have Stu in our thoughts.”

As speculation swirled online, Rampage Jackson addressed the incident directly, confirming his son’s opponent was no longer in critical danger.

“I want to clear up the misinformation about my son Raja,” Rampage wrote on X.

“I’ve been confirmed that the wrestler (Stewart Smith aka Syko Stu) is awake and stable. Raja was unexpectedly hit in the side of the head by him moments before Smith’s match, Raja was told that he could get his ‘payback’ in the ring, I thought it was apart of the show. It was bad judgement, and a work that went wrong.”

Rampage admitted his son should never have been in the ring to begin with.

“Raja is a MMA fighter not a pro wrestler and had no business involved in an event like this. I don’t condone my son’s actions AT ALL! He suffered a concussion from sparring only days ago and had no business doing anything remotely close to physical contact,” he continued.

“As a father, I'm deeply concerned with his health AND the well being of Mr. Smith. That being said I’m very upset that any of this happened, but my main concern now is that Mr. Smith will make a speedy recovery.”

Another clip circulating online shows an earlier altercation where Smith struck Jackson on the head with an object.
