A woman has been urged to divorce her husband after he reacted terribly about her medical bill.
Now, medical bills in the United States are no joke but when someone is in dire need of healthcare, it's necessary to get the help you need.
One woman was left shocked after her husband refused to help out with her medical fees after she had just given birth to their child.
Taking to Reddit in a now-deleted post, she explained the details.

"My husband (35M) and I (32F) welcomed our first baby three months ago. We've been married 7 years now and decided it was time to expand our family," she said in the lengthy post.
However, things apparently changed once the medical bills came.
The woman explained how she and her man split the bills 50/50 generally, and while she planned to have an "unmedicated natural birth with as little intervention as possible", 24 hours before actually getting her little one out of her, she was in severe pain.
"I caved and got the epidural (which I was open to having if needed). My husband had no problem with it, even encouraged it. When the bill came he brought it to me to pay all $8,000+ (after insurance) from my personal savings, I asked why," she continued.
His reason was because: "You're the one that couldn't hold out for a few more hours and jacked up the bill with all your meds and an extra nights stay."
"If I wanted luxury, I should expect to pay for it," she added.

Naturally, the woman was left stunned by his reaction stating: "He refuses to budge, calling me a princess for expecting him to pay for all the 'extra add ons' I requested in the hospital. This is by far the biggest issue in our 14-year-long relationship so far and I'm so lost on where to go from here."
The pair have also stopped communicating within their home.
She then asked the all-important question: "AITA for expecting him to contribute towards the cost of my childbirth? WIBTA for considering leaving him?"

Let's just say Reddit users were completely on the woman's side.
"Extra add ons? Let’s have him do the non anesthetic vasectomy at his own cost," one user wrote, while another added: "Oh hell the f*** no. LUXURY AND ADD ONS?!?! He would have to get the f*** out of my house."
A third also chimed in with this point: "If I was OP, I'd remind him that alimony, and child support for 18+ years, would cost him a lot more than $8,000. And I'd make sure that he knew I was deadly serious."
And this user confirmed: "NTA in the slightest. I would see red if my husband even had this thought cross his mind, let alone say it out loud."
"Husband who? I'm a single mom all of a sudden," another stated.
