Zac Efron has left fans in awe after recent photos show his incredible body transformation for his latest movie role.
The 35-year-old High School Musical star was recently captured in Louisiana on the set of his latest movie, where he was pictured wearing just a towel and sporting a rather eye-catching bowl-cut hairstyle.
In the movie, The Iron Claw, Efron stars as professional wrestling legend Kevin Von Erich - with the movie named after Von Erich's famous signature move.
For decades, the Hall of Fame Von Erich family has been a huge attraction in the industry, but multiple tragedies have meant that Kevin is now the last surviving son of professional wrestler Fritz Von Erich.
Now, it looks like Efron is certainly looking the part in order to bring the Von Erichs' story to the big screen.
In fact, recent photos circulating on social media have left fans in awe, with one person comparing the look to a "sexy Ned Flanders" from The Simpsons.
NYTimes columnist Tressie McMillan Cottom was also stunned by the transformation, tweeting: "WHO?!!! No way is that Zac [Efron]."
Certainly no stranger to the weight room (who could forget Efron's incredible physique in 2017's Baywatch?), Efron looks more jacked than ever as he has transformed into the former WCWA World Heavyweight Championship.
Despite sporting impressive physiques for both movies, Efron recently confessed to Men's Health that he approached training for The Iron Claw differently to Baywatch, as the latter left him suffering from "pretty bad depression for a long time".
"That Baywatch look, I don't know if that's really attainable," Efron told the outlet. "There's just too little water in the skin. Like, it's fake; it looks CGI'd. And that required powerful diuretics to achieve. So I don't need to do that. I much prefer to have an extra, you know, two to three percent body fat."
Directed by Sean Durkin, The Iron Claw will also star Maura Tierney, Harris Dickinson, Jeremy Allen White, and Lily James. No release date for the movie has been revealed as of this writing.
