Floridian authorities have this week successfully apprehended a woman believed to the perpetrator of an unusual Easter egg stunt.
According to a report by Orlando’s News6, 42-year-old local Abril Cestoni has been arrested after sending her neighbors plastic eggs, stuffed with pornographic material. After receiving numerous complaints from locals, police were finally able to identify Cestoni and get to the bottom of her mysterious crime.

In addition to the porn, the eggs - which were sent to over 400 local houses - were filled with an assortment of unusual items, including fish-shaped crackers, toilet paper, and a drink mix powder. Prior to Cestoni’s arrest, Sheriff Rick Staly issued a plea on behalf of the community, commenting:
"The person who did this is not only a very sick individual but could actually be spreading [the virus] by their actions.
"We are working to identify the offender and put them in the Green Roof Inn. If anyone else receives something like this or has information on who did this, we ask that you call us immediately."

During questioning, Cestoni supposedly told deputies that she had carried out the unusual mission in an attempt to persuade local churches to give more money to help the poor. In the arrest report, officials declared, "Abril stated she was ‘a church’ and had a business license. Abril said she was conducting research on local clergy and people deserved to know the truth".

This was later supported by Sheriff Staly, who added:
"She certainly has a bizarre, almost zealous opinion of churches and what they should believe in and how they should teach the teachings of the bible.
"Our team did a great job in tracking this deranged offender down and taking her into custody. Thankfully she did not appear to be sick with COVID-19 symptoms, but she certainly needs some help. This again proves that 'see something, say something' works and we thank the community for being part of our guardianship policing philosophy."
An understandably baffled Staly finally concluded, "In my career, it’s a pretty bizarre case."
