A gunman mugged a woman before he bizarrely changed his tactic and tried to get her to date him instead, and even offered to give her back her money in exchange.
As reported by WRTV, Amber Beraun went to get her mail from outside of her Indianapolis home when a man approached her wielding a gun.
The man, later identified as Damien Boyce, demanded to be let into Beraun's house but she remained strong and refused to let him in.
The Indianapolis woman explained that she handed roughly $100 in cash over to Boyce, stating: "He really tried to rob me of my own things, but he took away my sense of safety from my own home."
After taking the money from Beraun, a court heard that Boyce allegedly pointed the gun at her and demanded that she add him on Facebook.
After doing so while fearing for her life, the armed assailant fled the scene with the case and Beraun was left shaken by the whole ordeal.
"I thought if maybe I added him on Facebook, he would leave and he did," she said.
But it wasn't over yet, as when he got home, Boyce decided to message the woman he just mugged in an attempt to get her to go on a date with him.
"Damn you was too pretty to rob," one of the texts allegedly said, before adding that he would pay the $100 back if she agreed to go out with him.
Beraun messaged back out of fear: "I believe you man. I can tell you’re sweet, times just get rough. I know that."
Seeing this as an invitation, the gunman then invited the woman he just mugged to "come over and chill", to which she responded that she has a partner.
Understandably, Beraun has been left shaken up by the incident and now doesn't feel safe walking around the streets of her neighborhood.
"It makes me a little on edge knowing that people walk up and down the street, looking for places to commit crimes," she said. "It makes it a little different when you hear noises at night."

As reported by the New York Post, Boyce was tracked down by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and was arrested and charged with a separate armed robbery, where he allegedly shot two people before hitting another in the head with a brick.
Police revealed that the incident occurred after an argument broke out, and ended with Boyce barricading himself in, meaning a SWAT team had to be deployed.
Understanding that he had nowhere to go, Boyce surrendered and was charged with burglary, unlawful possession of a weapon, criminal recklessness, and battery.
He was further charged with Beraun's robbery and is being held on a $7,500 bond.
