Swedish homeware giant IKEA is now hiring Tidy Technicians, and the job is handsomely paid at $150 an hour.

The company is looking for ten cleaning wizards to join their team and spruce up other people's houses by tidying them to perfection - ideal if you or someone you know fancies themselves as the next Marie Kondo.

One person who could seriously use the help of a Tidy Technician is this extreme hoarder:

"We're so excited to be able to offer this role that will further assist IKEA in its mission to create a better life for the many people. In this case, bringing gladness to homes via organization and decluttering," IKEA's People and Culture Manager Kent Eriksson said.

If you're the kind of tidy wizard that IKEA is looking for, you'll be sent to the boot camp organized by IKEA's resident interior designer Tabitha Lage. There, you'll learn skills, tools, and expertise you need to become the perfect Tidy Technician.

"We want to alleviate the stresses within the home so that Aussies can enjoy their space and live a better everyday life at home; improving their overall wellbeing," Tabitha said.

"However, we can't do it alone, which is why we’re looking for our next co-workers who can help us bring joy to the many homes of Australia."

You don't need a degree or any formal qualifications to be eligible for this well-paid role either. All IKEA asks is that you've got a passion for home organization and an expertise in decluttering.

As per the job description: "Successful applicants will have a flair for decluttering, an eye for organization and a desire to tidy."

Unfortunately, however, this is only a temporary role, but who knows? Maybe you'll land the job and be so good at it that IKEA simply can't let you go.

Applications are open until January 30, so you'll have to be quick if you want to be in with a chance of landing one of the ten jobs.

As part of your application, you will need to include a resume, cover letter, and samples of your visual work. If this sounds like your dream job, further information can be found on IKEA's Facebook page.
