One man was certainly "lovin' it" during a recent trip to McDonald's, after walking away with an unexpectedly huge profit on his order.

Josiah Vargas received the shock of his life after going through the drive-thru at the fast-food chain. When he opened his bag afterward in the parking lot, however, he realized employees had accidentally given him a several-thousand-dollar deposit alongside his sausage McMuffin.

The confused customer - who uses the handle @dookiedoeboy - then took to TikTok to explain the puzzling incident. So far, his viral clip has racked up a total of 1.2 million views and over 285,000 likes.

In the video, Vargas holds up a white, plastic bag with the famous golden arch logo. As he opens it up, he reveals that it's filled with thousands of dollars of cold, hard, cash neatly packaged in little zip-lock bags.

Vargas begins the TikTok by detailing how he'd gone to his local McDonald's chain to get a sausage McMuffin. "What's in this bag? Their f**king deposits," he says, without revealing the restaurant's location.

"Just a couple thousand dollars here. Like, what is this? Why would they do this?", he continues. "Now I have to return this because I'm a good person, I guess."

The good Samaritan then returned to the McDonald's restaurant to return the dough, asking himself as he exits the car: "Why would you guys do this to me? Do you know how bad I want this money?"

As he entered the restaurant, Vargas jokingly asked the employees if they were laundering money, to which many of the staff members replied: "Oh my God." Evidently, they were relieved to be receiving their cash back.

One crew member even said she wanted to hug Vargas and take a photo with him. Clearly, the staff was so happy that Vargas returned the money that they even decided to reward him.

"They were just all hugging me and thanking me and crying, and I get free McDonald's for a month, I guess," Vargas said to the camera as he hopped back in the car, adding that he was also given a $200 reward.

Many people took to the comments to praise him for his good deed, with one person writing: "Someone kept their job because you did the right thing good on you man."

"Bro, you probably just saved all their jobs," another added.

"Your smile when you got back in the car. You're an incredible human being," a third person wrote.

Though, not everyone said the same thing. Other users said that they would have kept the money, like this person who commented: "When life gives you lemons, don't throw them away honey."
