A Massachusetts woman has been charged over the murder of her boyfriend - just two weeks after he informed his stepson that he believed he was being poisoned.
Judy Church - a retired 64-year-old schoolteacher - is accused of killing her 46-year-old boyfriend Leroy Fowler, with whom she had been in a relationship since 2012, per the Daily Mail.
Police say that Fowler was allegedly poisoned with ethylene glycol - an agent commonly found in anti-freeze - on November 11 and passed away two days later after being transferred to three different hospitals in the Northeastern part of the state.
Fowler leaves behind a sister, a son, and an eight-year-old grandson, who his relatives say he was very close to and would often spend large amounts of time with.
Church called 911 just after 8:00PM on November 11 stating that he had "ingested" something and that he "could not stand and was pulling the bedroom apart, with a bloody nose," as cited by PEOPLE.
The outlet also reports that Fowler had lived with Church for multiple years, but he also had a second girlfriend who he was "known to go back and forth between."

During the investigation, law enforcement spoke to Fowler's stepson, Michael Hawkins, who allegedly gave an insight into how his stepfather's death occurred.
He allegedly said that the pair were in a car together two weeks before the night of November 11, and "out of the blue, Leroy said that he thought Judy was poisoning him," per an affidavit viewed by PEOPLE.
The affidavit went on: "Leroy further stated that every time he left Judy's residence, he felt better. Michael stated that Leroy told him he thought Judy was poisoning his coffee milkshake."
"Michael also informed investigators that Judy had offered him $10,000 to kidnap Leroy from [his other girlfriend's] house, tie him up, and bring him back to her," per the affidavit.
During a search of the couple's apartment, an orange de-icer used to melt snow and ice from cars was found next to a bottle of sports drink.

Per the Daily Mail, Fowler's son - also name Leroy - alleged that Church took a life insurance policy out on his father a year before his untimely death, but has no evidence to support the claim.
Church was arrested on suspicion of murder last Thursday (December 22) and she appeared briefly in court the following day. She has been charged with first-degree murder.
The case is currently ongoing and she is due back in court on January 23.
