An infuriated mother has hit back after a video of her breastfeeding was shared online without her consent.
Izabele Lomax didn't realize she was being filmed by a random stranger while she and her nine-week-old baby were having a mother-son day out at the beach.
Tucked away under a beach umbrella, Lomax, who is from Maryland, decided to breastfeed her baby before her fiancé and his parents arrived to join the pair.
But what she didn't expect was to be filmed by a random stranger who was in the same location with her four-year-old before reposting it into a parenting group on Facebook to publicly shame her.
The post, which has now been deleted, gained traction online because it sparked a debate around women's bodies and the issue of breastfeeding in public.

"I’m not shaming woman [sic] who breastfeed their babies. I’m shaming the woman [sic] who breastfeed in public with no respect to cover themselves up and just let their boobs hang out (nipple included) for everyone to see!" the caption to the clip read.
"COVER TF UP!!! I shouldn’t have to cover my sons eyes and explain why your boobs are out and quite frankly I don’t want to see it either. Have some respect!" it added.
Upon seeing the rude video, Lomax decided to hit back.
Taking to TikTok, she said: "Imagine waking up, getting on Facebook and seeing this video of yourself yesterday at the beach."
Turning her attention to the woman that took the non-consensual video, she continued: "You had every opportunity in the world to say something to me. Not that I would have cared or stopped what I was doing. But you instead choose to post a video of me and my child on Facebook, publicly, for the world to see."
"This post has since been deleted, but thank you to all the people who came to my defense in the comments," she added before concluding: "My child was also hungry in multiple restaurants and while we were walking down the street, and guess what? He ate. Next time you see a mom breastfeeding in public, covered up or not, tell her how good of a job she's doing."
After the fiasco unfolded, the mom opened up about it during an interview with Today.
"We were in our own little area and I didn’t notice anyone staring at us or anything," Lomax told the outlet. "It wouldn’t even occur to me that somebody would be upset about me feeding my child."
So far, Lomax hasn't received an apology, but I'm sure it's the least she deserves after being shamed online for something that is a natural process.
