An Indian mother fought off a tiger with her bare hands after the beast sank its jaws into her 15-month-old son's head.
Per BBC News, the attack between Archana Choudhary and the animal took place on Sunday (September 4) on the outskirts of the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in Madhya, Pradesh in India.
The 25-year-old mother fought with the tiger for two whole minutes while it pierced into her lungs and tried to savage and tear into her son, Raviraj.
Fortunately, Choudhary snatched her infant child from the predator's jaws and despite their injuries, both came out of the horrifying battle alive.

As reported by the Times of India, while the mother and son waited in the field, the tiger clasped on the baby and tried to hook his teeth into his neck.
That was the moment when Choudhary used her bare hands to protect her child and began kicking and punching the tiger, ignoring the mauling she was getting.
Her screams were heard by people living in the nearby village who then arrived at the scene and beat the tiger away by using sticks.
As per the BBC, the mother and child were then treated in the intensive care unit in the city of Jabalpur and were given anti-rabies injections by the Civil surgeon Dr. Misthi Ruhela.
Another doctor spoke with BBC Hindi and said Raviraj's injuries were not severe compared to his mother's. The boy was being treated for head injuries while Choudhary suffered a punctured lung and injuries to her back, hands, and abdomen.
Meanwhile, the bloody tiger attack has now caused panic among the visitors. The forest official revealed that the biggest challenge for the department was to locate and capture the beasts that had wandered into the village.
Sanjeev Srivastava, the Senior government official, also said that measures were being taken to ensure that more tigers did not escape from the reserve.
In addition to this, a search operation is underway to push the tiger back to its territory and villagers have been urged to stay indoors at night.
