People are loving Kamala Harris' response to being interrupted by Mike Pence during debate
The Democratic candidate for Vice President, Kamala Harris and current VP, Mike Pence went head to head in a televised debate last night ahead of the November election.
While there was a lot of talk about policy during the Wednesday evening debate, one of the standout moments from it was Kamala Harris' response to being interrupted by Mike Pence, which social media users absolutely loved.
In the video below, Harris tells Pence to stop interrupting her:

Clearly, 55-the -year-old was more than ready for Pence's interruptions and on one occasion said: "Mr. Vice-President, I'm speaking. If you don't mind letting me finish, then we can have a conversation."
One fan shared a picture of Harris making a particularly unamused expression and wrote: "Can we make this a universal meme for responding to mansplaining."

Meanwhile, a lot of women used the vice presidential debate as an opportunity to express how much they hate being interrupted by men.

A second then shared a picture of some famous faces making the same unamused expression as Harris did during the debate, including Daenerys Targaryen.

Harris did not hold back when it came to telling Pence that she wasn't amused by his actions, and on more than one occasion, she said: "I'm speaking."

This went down a storm on social media.
One Twitter created a hilarious meme with the quote:

A second arguably made an even funnier meme, writing: "mr. vice president im SPEAKING [sic]."

In fact, Harris' actions during the debate actually inspired some women.
One wrote on Twitter: "'I'm speaking.' This should be a 101 taught to all young girls. Nobody taught us this in the '80s."

This comes after a fly landed on Mike Pence's head during the debate and became the internet's new favorite meme.
Towards the end of Wednesday night's debate, a large housefly was caught on camera, buzzing around the Republican candidate, before landing and resting on the crown of his head for around two whole minutes.

The insect's appearance quickly became arguably the most memorable part of the night.
Per a recent report by BBC News, the phrase "the fly" has been tweeted and retweeted more than 700,000 times since the debate's conclusion. It quickly began trending on the social media platform, with a number of Twitter users jumping on the bandwagon.
