Prince Harry has encouraged military veterans to "offer support for one another" as the Taliban seizes control of Afghanistan.
The Duke of Sussex, 36, spent 10 years in the Army, including two frontline tours to Afghanistan.
What's more, he is a patron of the Invictus Games Foundation, a sporting event he created for injured veterans which supports their recovery.
This week Taliban fighters entered Afghanistan's capital Kabul, taking over the presidential palace. The Taliban seized power following the withdrawal of American troops.
In a statement issued with the organization's chair Lord Allen of Kensington CBE and chief executive Dominic Reid OBE, Harry said, per Sky News: "What's happening in Afghanistan resonates across the international Invictus community.
"Many of the participating nations and competitors in the Invictus Games family are bound by a shared experience of serving in Afghanistan over the past two decades, and for several years, we have competed alongside Invictus Games Team Afghanistan.
"We encourage everybody across the Invictus network - and the wider military community - to reach out to each other and offer support for one another."
The Invictus Games have been postponed for two years running due to the pandemic.
It comes as US President Joe Biden blasted the Afghan army for "giving up" and said he "stands squarely behind" the decision to pull American troops out of the war-torn country.
Biden slammed the Afghan president and military leaders in an address from the White House, after days of silence on the crisis.
The President also admitted being taken by surprise by the speed of the Afghan government’s collapse.
He said: "The truth is, this did unfold more quickly than we had anticipated. So what's happened? Afghanistan political leaders gave up and fled the country."
Elsewhere, former POTUS Donald Trump has slammed Biden's handling of US troop withdrawal from Afghanistan, claiming the situation in Kabul would be "totally different" had his administration still been in office.

Breaking his silence on the chaos, Trump wrote: "First Joe Biden surrendered to COVID, and it has come roaring back. Then he surrendered to the Taliban, who has quickly overtaken Afghanistan and destroyed confidence in American power and influence.
"The outcome in Afghanistan, including the withdrawal, would have been totally different if the Trump Administration had been in charge. Who or what will Joe Biden surrender to next? Someone should ask him, if they can find him."
What's more, Trump called Afghanistan the "most embarrassing military outcome in the history of the United States." He then called the way the US left the country "grossly incompetent."
In a separate statement, Trump wrote: "What Joe Biden has done with Afghanistan is legendary. It will go down as one of the greatest defeats in American history!"
