An inquest has heard how a reality star's ex-partner allegedly "suffocated" their infant daughter before driving into a truck with her in the car.

Details have emerged surrounding the tragic crash that claimed the lives of Ashley Henry and his two-year-old daughter, Oria Henry.

The inquest reveals chilling revelations suggesting a deliberate act by Ashley, leaving the public stunned and heartbroken, per the Sun.

The incident occurred when Ashley, 35, collided head-on with a truck shortly after returning from a Father's Day getaway with little Oria.

Initially, the crash was deemed an accident but further investigations shed light on the horror of what reportedly took place.

Evidence presented at the hearing suggests the possibility that Oria may have been unlawfully killed before the crash, potentially through suffocation.

Area Coroner for Greater Lincolnshire, Jayne Wilkes, declared Oria's death as unlawful, attributing it to her father's actions, which ultimately led to his own death.

"Was Oria alive at the time of the crash? The doctor said she was probably not and his evidence was compelling," stated Coroner Wilkes during the proceedings. She emphasized the gravity of the situation, highlighting the deliberate nature of Ashley's actions.

Oria was found deceased in her car seat in the front of the car. The driver of the truck, David Ewington, said Ashley's car "came out of nowhere across the road."

The heartbreaking ordeal is furthered by Ashley's chilling farewell note, titled "Bye," discovered on his laptop after his death.

In the note, he expressed feelings of fear and abandonment, particularly concerning his relationship with Oria and her mother, Rachael Leader.

Rachael, who gained public attention through her appearance on Channel 4's dating show spin-off First Dates Hotel in the UK, broke down in court as details of Ashley's inner turmoil were unveiled.

Despite the tragedy, Rachael found solace in expressing her love for her daughter in a tribute issued through Lincolnshire Police.

"To my darling daughter, Oria... You gave me so much light sweetheart, so much love and so much happiness," she wrote, honoring the memory of her child.

She continued: "I will cherish each and every moment we had together. You had the most beautiful smile and gorgeous curly hair. You touched the hearts of many Oria and I’m so incredibly proud to be your mummy.

"I miss you so much. Whilst the pain of losing you is indescribable, I will turn it into purpose, for you and for us. You chose me for a reason and will continue to shine your light through me. We will shine together. My darling girl, my baby, God will keep you safe until we meet again in heaven."

Continuing her tributes on Facebook, Rachael went on: "I wish I had more time with her. I really do. It’s so cruel what’s happened. And today I feel a lot of anger."

I don’t understand how one could take their own child’s life out of spite. And have planned it, weeks before. It’s psychotic. I was invited on that trip but I declined because I already had plans…imagine if I’d have gone! Well, I don’t think I’d be here to tell the tale to be honest with you."
