Seven people are confirmed dead following a disturbing slumber party massacre in Henryetta, Oklahoma Saturday (April 29).

Convicted sex offender Jesse McFadden, 39, died by suicide last weekend after allegedly shooting his wife, Holly Guess, 35, and her teenage children, Rylee Elizabeth Allen, 17, Michael James Mayo, 15, and Tiffany Dore Guess, 13, according to a police press conference this week, per Associated Press.

Also killed were two of Tiffany's friends - 14-year-old Ivy Webster and 16-year-old Brittany Brewer - who were at the home for a sleepover.

At the press conference, Okmulgee Police Chief Joe Prentice - who is also a spokesperson for the violent crime task force that is investigating the murders - revealed that all of the victims had been shot in the head.

Prentice stated: "Ivy Webster suffered one gunshot wound to the head, Brittany Brewer suffered one gunshot wound to the head." Allen, one of McFadden's stepdaughters, suffered one gunshot wound to the head, while Guess and Mayo suffered two gunshot wounds to the head.

McFadden's wife was shot three times in the head, according to Prentice, who also added that McFadden "appears to have shot himself in the head." He allegedly used a 9mm handgun his wife bought last year.

During the press conference, Prentice said that the bodies were located in two separate areas on the property. Webster, Brewer, and Allen's bodies found separately about 100 yards away from each other, while the other bodies were discovered further away in a wooded area. However, authorities have explained that they don't know when the shootings had taken place.

"Based on the investigation, we believe the girls were spotted in Henryetta on Saturday night. Beyond that I can't tell you," Prentice said, adding that the motive was still unclear. "Part of the problem when the community suffers with something like this is everybody wants to understand why. Normal people can't understand why. People that perpetrate crimes like this are evil."

The parents of two of the deceased teens sleeping over at the home were completely unaware that McFadden was actually a convicted sex offender who pleaded guilty to first degree rape in 2003, per News9. After being found guilty he was sentenced to 28 years in prison, but only served 17 years and was released in 2020.

The news outlet also detailed how, in 2016, McFadden had been accused of sending nude photos to a minor and using a contraband cell phone to communicate with that minor while still in prison. This led to charges of soliciting sexual conduct/communication with a minor by the use of technology, as well as another count of possessing child pornography.

McFadden's trial in relation to these charges was supposed to begin Monday, and it was when law enforcement went to his house to serve a warrant for his arrest when he failed to show up for court that they discovered the bodies on his property.
