TikTok star Harrison Gilks who rose to fame with his "bucket list" videos has sadly passed away aged 18 after posting a heartbreaking final video.
The content creator was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma in November 2020 which is usually pediatric cancer that impacts the soft tissue, per CBC News.
The TikTok star underwent months of chemotherapy treatment after doctors found a tumor near his prostate and a spot on his lung.
In February 2022, Harrison and his family went on vacation to celebrate his showing signs of remission, but sadly the cancer returned a few months later and in June of that year he broke the news that his diagnosis was terminal.
The news of Harrison's death was broken by his brother:Following his heartbreaking diagnosis, Harrison launched his "bucket list" videos where he attempted to travel as much as he could with the time he had remaining.
The TikTok star met many of his hockey heroes and even sat on the bench with them during a game, and saw sights such as the Rocky Mountains.
His final video came on March 21. Harrison lay in his hospital bed and told his followers that he believed he didn't have much time left, and that he wished there was something that could save him.
He revealed that he was having difficulty breathing as the tumors had caused one of his lungs to fill with fluid. "I love you guys. Thank you for all the support throughout everything," Harrison said. "Bucket list series done."
His death was announced 10 days later with his obituary reading, via the New York Post: "He was determined not to let cancer get in his way. But after nearly two and a half years of a hard-fought battle, knowing he did as much as he could, knowing he was loved and strong, he said goodbye."
Fans flocked to the comments of his final video to offer their condolences and to pay tribute to the star who had inspired them even when he faced great adversity.
"65 yr old guy in New Zealand here. Your strength inspiress me. Your fortitude comforts me. And your bravery in all adversary humbles me [sic]," one comment read.

A second person added: "[I have] been following you since you posted last June, You are truly inspiring man, I will think about you as an example in my life forever. Thank you brother."

"Harrison your attitude has changed my life forever. Thanks to you I dropped all my addictions right after I first saw this video a week ago. Thank you," a third penned.
