A TikToker has solved a Scooby-Doo-style crime after seeing some suspicious behavior from her next-door neighbors.

Taking to the video-sharing platform, Mandi - also known by her username @divinemandi - told her 12,000 followers about a seemingly criminal incident that was unfolding before her eyes.

"Guys, there's some serious Scooby Doo s*** happening right now," she said in a video. "I have to share and I'm terrified."

Mandi then went on to the explain that her "crazy" neighbors have been doing some "shady s***" lately which had prompted her to keep an eye on things.

It all started when they randomly brought home a side-by-side, which is an off-road vehicle closely resembling a smaller dune buggy, out of nowhere in the middle of the night, but it only took Mandi one quick Facebook search to realize that a similar vehicle was stolen from a home close to her own just a few days earlier.

Rather than just ignoring the signs, Mandi took it upon herself to message the lady that put up the post about the missing side-by-side telling her: "Yo, you gotta get over here now because this s*** is stolen and it's in my back yard."

The TikToker then showed her followers some evidence of what she was seeing and lo and behold, in her neighbor's yard sat a vehicle which was covered in some light plastic tarp and very closely resembled the shape of the missing car - uncanny? I think not.

In order to make sure this was actually the stolen item, Mandi proceeded to compare the details in the Facebook post to what she could see and everything just seemed to fit the description perfectly, all the way down to the time it went missing and the vehicle that the neighbors had pulled up to their home in, as well as a logo on the front of the side-by-side.

"I'll keep you posted," she said, before following up with a series of other updates.

In one video Mandi showed her followers the scene as an entire SWAT team dressed in tactical gear turned up to her neighbor's home.

"More bros [have] pulled up," she says to the camera. "They're all gearing up. Does that man have a gun?"

Someone else in her household responds: "That is a gun."

You can hear Mandi say "Oh my God," as she continues to film the events unfolding outside of her window.

In the end, the authorities broke down the door and "cuffed" the man in question while Mandi and her household hid in their basement, which she found out thanks to an update by a fellow neighbor who posted it in the chat of an app for her local area.

They even went as far as posting a screenshot of the charges the man was arrested under including "possession of stolen property" and "resisting arrest" - big yikes.

After the story thread went viral, hundreds took to the comments to praise the TikToker for her bravery.

"I’m so happy they got their side by side back those things aren’t cheap! You did the right thing," one user wrote while others urged Mandi to stay safe.

Another also added: "This was solid! Florida needs people like you."

So what have we learned from this? Firstly, don't steal. Secondly, if you do, tarp isn't going to cover up your crimes. Third of all, be wary of your neighbors.

Sorted.
