Meghan Markle is reportedly honoring her late grandfather-in-law Prince Philip by watching his funeral procession from home.

People has confirmed that the Duchess of Sussex is watching the 3:00PM (BTS) ceremony from her home in Montecito, California.

The publication also reports that both Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, provided a wreath to be laid for Prince Philip that contained a handwriting card from the former Suits actress.

Markle, 39, has been left unable to attend the funeral in person due to her physician not clearing her to travel so far along in her pregnancy.

Harry and Meghan are currently expecting their second child, after revealing to Oprah Winfrey during their groundbreaking interview that they are having a girl this summer.

The couple's wreath was reportedly designed by Willow Crossley, who also worked with Meghan and Harry on the flower arrangements for their wedding reception, as well as Archie's christening and the launch event for the Hubb Community cookbook.

People states that the wreath contains a selection of locally sourced flowers.

Paying tribute to The Duke of Edinburgh's storied heritage, Meghan and Harry reportedly requested for the wreath to contain Bear's breeches (Acanthus mollis) - the national flower of Greece.

Sea holly (eryngium) was also included in order to honor the late consort's service in the Royal Marines.

Campanula was included to represent gratitude and everlasting love, rosemary for remembrance, lavender for devotion, and roses, for Prince Philip's June birth month.

Buckingham Palace first announced the news of Prince Philip's death at the age of 99 in an official statement made on April 9.

Following the funeral, the late consort will become the 25th member of royalty laid to rest in the 200-year-old crypt of St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.

The Duke's remains will be kept there until the death of Queen Elizabeth, upon which time, the body will be moved to join the Queen's, along with her father join George VI, in the King George VI Memorial Chapel.

People adds that Meghan was "hopeful" that she would be able to attend in person.
