Not even the Elder Wand could fix this mess.

A Harry Potter-themed rental property - designed for families and fans visiting the Warner Bros. Studio Tour - has been left in complete disarray after a guest trashed the space beyond recognition.

The devastated owner of the Watford-based UK property - who goes by homelea.stays on TikTok - shared the shocking aftermath in a viral video that has amassed over 9.4 million views on the platform.

The footage reveals smashed cups, a destroyed TV covered in bleach, frozen chips scattered across the floor, and walls splattered with Fanta.

The most disturbing sight, however, was a bed completely stained with a brown substance — sparking concern from viewers who initially mistook it for something sinister.

"The Most Horrific Scene Ever"

"A few days ago, I walked into my Airbnb to clean it, only to walk into the most horrific scene ever," the owner said in the video. "Someone has turned our Airbnb upside down. They have literally trashed the entire place."

"This was made for families and children," they added. "Now we have had to close it down until it is safe."

Viewers flooded the comments in shock. One person wrote: "I thought this was a crime scene cleanup channel when I saw the bed."

Another added, "Please tell me you reported this to the police — that’s criminal damage."

A third angry viewer wrote: "Makes my blood boil sorry to see this. I hope you reported them to Airbnb. What on earth have they done to that mattress?"

The video below shows what the stunning BnB should look like:

Booking Nightmare

As reported by The Mirror, the owner clarified in a follow-up video that the guest had booked through Booking.com, not Airbnb — which meant there was no guest profile or previous reviews to flag potential issues.

"Had this guest come from Airbnb, they would have had a profile, and if the ratings were bad, we of course wouldn’t have gone ahead with the booking," they explained.

"[The guests] booked via @Booking.com and they have done nothing," the owner added in a comment reply on TikTok.

The host also addressed the mystery of the brown stains, revealing it was a mixture of coffee and cocoa butter rather than blood or bodily fluids, as many had feared.

In a statement to VT, a spokesperson for Booking.com said: "We do not tolerate destructive behaviour and we are sorry to hear about any damage caused to the property. Regarding this case, the partner has not yet reported guest misconduct or reached out to our customer services team.

"We encourage the partner to do so to enable us to thoroughly investigate, cooperate with local authorities or law enforcement and if necessary, block the responsible customer from our platform."

Police Investigation Hits a Wall

The host reported the destruction to Hertfordshire Police, providing the guest's name, postcode, and booking reference.

However, they later claimed that authorities had not yet responded to the case despite days passing since the report.

In a statement to VT, a spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: "Police are investigating a report of criminal damage in Watford.

"The incident happened inside a property in Gammons Lane between 1pm on Saturday 15 February and 1pm on Sunday 16 February.

"Damage was caused to a TV, a wi-fi router, the carpet and a mattress.

"Enquiries are ongoing at this time and the victim is being supported by local officers."

Anybody with information is encouraged to report it online at herts.police.uk/report, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/15331/25.

Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.

The property, which boasts a 9.1 "superb" rating on Booking.com, is now temporarily closed as the owner deals with the extensive damage.

Let's hope homelea.stays can feel comfortable opening up her property back to the public as soon as possible, and that she never has guests like this "Slyther-in" ever again.
