Princes William and Harry were reunited in grief at Windsor Castle yesterday, as they viewed floral tributes to <a href="https://vt.co/news/uk/when-and-where-you-can-see-the-queen-lying-in-state-before-her-funeral" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Queen Elizabeth II</a>. The Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen shaking hands and speaking with members of the public, just one day after <a href="https://vt.co/news/uk/moment-god-save-the-king-is-sung-officially-for-the-first-time-in-70-years" target="_blank" rel="noopener">King Charles III</a> addressed the nation. Many of the high-profile members of the Royal Family were seen visiting memorials to the late Queen across the UK. It was the first time the four royals were seen out in public since the death of Britain's longest-reigning monarch on September 8. They both attended a service of thanksgiving for the Queen’s platinum jubilee earlier this year but insiders said that they did not speak. The reunion comes after relations reportedly deteriorated in the wake of Prince Harry, 37, and Markle, 41, bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, and their announcement that they would step down from their senior royal duties in January 2020. Their walkabout also came as <a href="https://vt.co/news/uk/people-overjoyed-after-realizing-prince-william-is-left-handed-representation-is-important" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Prince William</a> issued a <a href="https://twitter.com/KensingtonRoyal/status/1568623203404201984" target="_blank" rel="noopener">heartfelt tribute</a> to the woman he knew as "grannie", praising her as an "extraordinary" leader for the country and a source of wisdom and reassurance for her family. "I knew this day would come, but it will be sometime before the reality of life without Grannie will truly be real," he said. After being formally proclaimed King in an accession ceremony at St James’s Palace in London on Saturday, September 10,  he paid tribute to his mother’s reign for "its duration, its dedication, and its devotion" and promised to follow her example. Also, in an address to the nation hours after the late Queen’s death, King Charles confirmed William as the new Prince of Wales and also sent a message of "love for Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives overseas".
