Students and teachers in England have been left horrified after a school Zoom event was hacked by naked men.

The event, which had been organised by external provider Reading Rampage, had been set up to teach the children how to stay safe online as part of Safer Internet Day.

Reading Rampage reportedly sent the children a link to join a call yesterday, February 9.

However, when the schoolchildren tried to access the video call, they were greeted by a group of naked men exposing themselves rather than the intended event.

Per the Daily Mail, the distressing incident is now being investigated by police in Doncaster after the hackers "committed lewd acts and made threats" towards the unsuspecting students aged between 11 and 12.

One parent whose child clicked through to the hacked video, told the paper: "They had a lesson with their teacher. She then told them to click on the link and listen to the author. She then left the group and muted the chat (so the kids couldn't message her).

"A few kids obviously clicked the link she sent over and there were loads of foreign men stood totally naked with their private parts in their hands."

Jess Hughes, mother of two girls at The Laurel Academy in Mexborough said the incident left her kids "distraught", and that she was "sick to her stomach".

Another parent said: "We would all like our kids/grandkids to learn to the best of their ability but this doesn't exactly give anyone the confidence to carry on like there's nothing wrong.

"We trust the schools to have reliable sources for online learning, not for dirty filthy perverts to be able to be seen with their male body parts out doing disgusting stuff. It's shocking."

South Yorkshire Police said in a statement:

"We received a call yesterday (9 February) at 11am reporting an online session, being hosted externally to a number of Doncaster schools, being hacked by two men.

"It is believed they committed lewd acts and made threats towards the children attending the session.

"Enquiries are on-going to ascertain the circumstances and find those responsible. We are working closely with Doncaster Council and anyone with information that can help officers is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 358 of 9 February 2021."
