The Queen has proven yet again why she's got the best job in the country.

Yesterday (June 11), the 95-year-old monarch appeared alongside the Duchesses of Cornwall and Cambridge at a royal engagement at the Eden Project in Cornwall.

During the Big Lunch event, Queen Elizabeth II was handed a ceremonial sword by Edward Bolitho, the Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall, the Standard reports.

Pictures show the reigning monarch smiling gleefully at the weapon, like Thor wielding Mjölnir.

When asked to cut a large cake, the Queen's aide told her that there was a conventional knife available to use instead, to which Her Majesty replied: "I know there is, this is more unusual."

Honestly, it must be so fun being queen.

The quip prompted laughter from both Kate and Camilla, who watched as the Queen continued to cut the cake.

The Duchess of Cornwall then commented: "That’s slicing through", before assisting her mother-in-law with the cutting, which drew loud applause from attendees at the event.

Her Majesty then handed the sword back and opted to use a sensible knife to cut a second slice and commented: "That looks very good."

Per the Evening Standard, executive director of the Eden Project Peter Stewart spoke of the honor of hosting the three royals, saying: "It is like comets – they don’t come around very often."

"I was trying to remember the last time that the three were on an official engagement together like this. I can only think of one at Fortnum and Mason but this was something else. The important thing for me was there was every reason not to do it," Steward added.

Earlier in the day, the Queen had hosted an open-air reception at the renowned botanical garden for members of the G7.

Those in attendance included President Joe Biden, Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Mr. Steward added: "The fact that they judged that with the eyes of the G7 that there was an opportunity – with the risk of missing trains and everything else – to be able to listen to some of the heartfelt stories of people here.

"It was absolutely priceless."
