Mattel, the renowned mastermind behind beloved toy franchises such as Barbie and Hot Wheels, has unveiled an exciting opportunity that will make your card-playing dreams come true.

The global toy giant is on the hunt for an exceptional individual to take on the role of "Chief UNO Player" and is prepared to reward them handsomely with a staggering $3,000 per week, per Business Wire.

Based in the bustling heart of New York City, this month-long position is more than just a job; it's a golden opportunity for avid UNO fans to transform their passion into a lucrative side gig.

While the primary duty revolves around engaging in spirited rounds of UNO, the selected candidate will also be tasked with a creative mission: "help create and star in social content" to introduce an exciting new twist on the classic household card game.

The official job posting states: "We're bringing the unpredictable, friendship-building (or destroying) fun of UNO games to life in a whole new way with our UNO Quatro family game - a classic four-in-a-row challenge with a twist - and we need your help to get the word out."

The successful applicant must exude the same level of enthusiasm when laying down a Draw 4 card as they do when sparking up a game with strangers. A flair for employing strategic reverses and a penchant for unleashing controlled wildness are also desirable traits. In essence, they're seeking a UNO aficionado who can truly embody the essence of the game.

Applicants must be available for four days each week during the months of September and October, specifically between 2:00PM and d 6:00PM. As an additional note, the role mandates comfort in handling interviews and public appearances.

Eligibility requirements are straightforward yet crucial. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and hold either US citizenship or permanent residency. Moreover, the role comes with a few distinctive demands, including the ability to endure prolonged periods of sitting, lift and carry weights of up to 50 lbs, and adeptly set up playing tables and tents on location.
